Murmuring as though lovers, Ye Ranran found herself entranced. Jun Mochan’s hand had already settled on her waist, rubbing it intermittently.
"Mm...Ah..." Ye Ranran involuntarily moaned.
The look in Jun Mochan’s eyes instantly deepened.
Feeling embarrassed, Ye Ranran was about to move away when Jun Mochan suddenly swept her into his arms.
They bathed together for a full two hours. Afterward, Ye Ranran, completely spent and eyes barely open, laid against Jun Mochan.
In the tender moment, Ye Ranran slowly drifted off to sleep.
At seven in the morning, the alarm clock rang. Ye Ranran, still bleary-eyed, got out of bed, preparing to join Jun Mochan on the drive to work.
Just as she sat down, Che Hao called.
"Would you like to have dinner tonight?"
Ye Ranran turned on her computer, "No need, I’m busy."
"When will you be free then?"
"Why would you want to have a meal with me for no reason?" Ye Ranran asked, puzzled.
"I really liked the clothes." Che Hao came up with an excuse.
Ye Ranran’s lip twitched, "That’s my job, no need to thank me. Now, I’m really busy, I have to hang up."
After that, Che Hao didn’t call her again. Things went on for half a month; Ye Ranran was finally able to catch a breather after all her designs were completed.
"Finally, it’s all done." After sending the design drafts to director S.Z., Ye Ranran stretched indulgently.
Luo Qi also shook out her hands, "Yes, finally completed. Let’s go have fun tonight."
"Now that you’re married, you’re not going to do any entertainment? " Luo Qi laughed exaggeratedly.
"No, I just don’t usually eat late-night snacks." Ye Ranran admitted, embarrassed.
Jun Mochan had never restricted her, he never dictated what she could or couldn’t do.
"Then come and have a few drinks with me." Luo Qi pulled her up from her chair.
"But I don’t know how to drink." Ye Ranran looked at her with innocent puppy eyes.
Luo Qi’s face fell, "It seems like you’re unwilling to accompany me."
"Not at all." Ye Ranran quickly denied, seeing Luo Qi’s increasing disappointment. Ye Ranran bit down on her lip, "Okay, I’ll accompany you."
"Great, let’s go now." Luo Qi cheered, dragging Ye Ranran off.
The two went to a bar and ordered a few bottles of liquor.
"Come on, Ranran, drink up. This one’s for you. If it weren’t for you, I’d probably be homeless right now." Luo Qi shoved a glass into Ye Ranran’s hand.
Just when Ye Ranran was about to respond, Luo Qi intervened, "Don’t try to dissuade me, I came out today just to unwind."
After her temper tantrum, she had to move on and let go.
"Alright, I’ll drink with you." Ye Ranran declared boldly.
However, her capacity for alcohol wasn’t nearly as bold as her words.
When Jun Mochan’s call came, Ye Ranran was already slurring her words.
"Where are you?" Listening to the background noise on her end, Jun Mochan furrowed his brows.
Ye Ranran looked around, "A bar..."
"Which bar?" Jun Mochan’s brows furrowed deeper.
He had been indulging her too much, she actually went to a bar.
"Halo-" Ye Ranran burped.
"Ranran, come on, continue." Luo Qi poured her another drink.
Ye Ranran’s eyes got drowsy, "I can’t talk anymore, I’m busy."
With that, Ye Ranran ended the call.
"Oh no, I don’t seem to have mentioned to him that I’ll come back on my own." Ye Ranran murmured to herself.
Just as she was about to dial Jun Mochan’s number, Luo Qi handed her another drink, "Drink up, we’re not going home until we’re drunk."
