"You should ask the King of Hell that," one of them replied, raising his fist to strike Jun Mochan.
Jun Mochan shielded Ye Ranran behind him, barehandedly facing the attacker.
The men in black were only targeting Jun Mochan, subsequently pushing Ranran out of the circle swiftly.
In the midst of the scuffle, her wig fell off.
Because of an earlier dispute, she had chosen not to bring any bodyguards with her when they came out. Now she regretted terribly.
Just as she was considering whether she should call her bodyguards for backup, a figure appeared behind Jun Mochan, raising an electroshock stick high into the air.
"Be careful!" Having no idea where she found the courage, Ye Ranran removed her high heels and charged forward.
She struck the unprepared man in the head, who then collapsed onto the ground.
Seeing Ye Ranran fight back, one of the men extended his baton towards her.
Jun Mochan swiftly spun around, his long leg delivering a kick to the assailant’s groin. In the instant when the man buckled over in pain, he quickly swept Ranran into his arms.

Except for being shoved around at the beginning, Ranran wasn’t injured at all.
"I’m okay." Despite saying this, her entire body swayed unsteadily.
Jun Mochan’s arm wrapped around her as he pulled out his phone to call the police commissioner.
Upon hearing that Jun Mochan was in trouble, the commissioner immediately extracted himself from bed, rushing to their location at full speed.
"It’s all over. Let’s go home." Jun Mochan picked Ranran up.
This time, Ranran did not struggle but nestled compliantly in Jun Mochan’s arms.
Upon returning home, Ranran was still in shock. She held on tightly to Mo Han’s clothing, her eyes filled with fear.
"It’s okay, it’s over," Jun Mochan reassured her repeatedly.
"Who...who sent those men?" On speaking, Ranran discovered her voice was incredibly hoarse.
"I’ll find out. Don’t worry." Jun Mochan knew that Xie Yuan couldn’t wait and had made his move.
But he didn’t want to tell her.
If Ranran found out, she would surely blame herself.
"Go take a shower and sleep," Jun Mochan said as he carried Ranran to the bathroom.
