Clear eyes, thin lips, high-bridged nose, a flawless face, lean figure, fit suit. The man sat on the sofa, looking at Ye Ranran with a gaze that seemed to strip her of her clothes.
"That look of yours... do you know me?" Ye Ranran’s wariness became more profound.

"I fear that it’s you who has offended someone." The man looked at her with a smirk.
Ye Ranran couldn’t be bothered to waste her breath with him and whipped out her phone, ready to make a call.
The man quickly moved towards her, snatching her phone in one fell swoop.
Angrily, Ye Ranran grabbed a cup from the table and hurled it at the man: "Give me back my phone."
"Such a fiery temper, who can deal with you?" The man deflected.
Ye Ranran lifted her leg, aiming a kick at his crotch.
The man stepped back defensively, and Ye Ranran kicked his knee instead, causing him to frown.
When he bent over, Ye Ranran quickly grabbed her phone, unlocking it and dialing Jun Mochan’s number.
The call was answered after a single ring.
"Ranran? ’You finished recording?" Jun Mochan’s soothing voice travelled from the other end.
Ye Ranran’s restless heart immediately settled: "Husband, there’s a pesky fly here, could you help me shoo it away?"
"Which blind fellow dare to bother my wife? Say it, I will teach him a lesson."
Ye Ranran started a video call promptly and aimed the camera at the man. When she looked up, the man had disappeared.
"Ranran?" Jun Mochan on the other end, seeing no one, seemed a bit anxious.
"He’s gone." Ye Ranran furrowed her brow.
Jun Mochan sensed something was off: "What happened?"
Ye Ranran didn’t want him to worry, so she brushed it off lightly: "It’s nothing, just met an annoying person."
"Alright, as long as you’re fine. If anything happens, call me instantly."
"Don’t worry, I’m going home now, bye."
No sooner had she hung up on Jun Mochan, Che Hao called: "Where are you?"
