At Ye Ranran’s call, Gao Han came as quickly as he could.
Ye Ranran was waiting for him at the gate of the ancient city.
It was early winter and the temperature hadn’t reached its lowest point yet. She wore a black leather skirt and a sweater, standing at the city gate.
Her short, neat hair lost its initial softness, but gained a touch of competence.
Ye Ranran, as such, looked more like a sophisticated city woman.
"Ranran." Gao Han quickly took a few steps and stood in front of her.
"Let’s go." Without looking at him, Ye Ranran turned and walked away.
Gao Han walked next to her: "You asked me to come in such a hurry, is there something wrong?"
Could it be that she had encountered some difficulties?
"I just have something to tell you." The tone of Ye Ranran’s voice was cold, even though it was soft, it carried an indifferent undertone.
The look on her face was very similar to Jun Mochan’s.
Gao Han couldn’t bear to see her , he instinctively moved closer to her: "Whatever you say, I’ll remember."
Those two soft words carried a hint of sarcasm.
Yet Gao Han looked at her very seriously: "Yes, I promise."
"You don’t have to promise me, I don’t need that. I called you here today, just to make you realize a few things." Ye Ranran stopped walking and looked ahead.
Following her gaze, a man and a woman were leisurely walking on the bluestone pavement. The man’s hand was around the woman’s waist.
The woman’s head conveniently rested on the man’s shoulder, intimating a close relationship that was obvious to any observer.
And that woman, isn’t that Ye Tianjiao?
Gao Han’s face turned dark.
Even though he no longer loved Ye Tianjiao, she was still technically his wife. Anyone who knew or recognized him, Gao Han, would refer to Ye Tianjiao as Mrs. Gao.
No man would keep calm when he discovers his own cuckold.
Ye Tianjiao seemed to be saying something funny to the man, her face was full of smiles.
"What are you both talking about? You seem to be in high spirits." Gao Han didn’t yell as he usually would. Instead, he maintained a polite smile on his face.
Just like seeing a business partner.
Ye Ranran stood at a distance that was neither too far nor too close to them.
Why didn’t she leave? The answer was, to enjoy the show.
She had directed yet another great drama, it would be a shame not to watch it.
Gao Han’s appearance made Ye Tianjiao momentarily flustered, but she quickly calmed down.
Ye Ranran thought that Ye Tianjiao would definitely be flustered, even if she didn’t care, she would still end up in a fight with Gao Han just like before.
Surprisingly, today she just gave Gao Han a dismissive look and then turned her head to smile at the man next to her: "Where were we? Let’s continue!"
Gao Han was so furious that his veins were bulging, he stood right in front of Ye Tianjiao: "Very good, you have learned to ignore me!"
Ye Tianjiao looked at him like looking at a stranger: "Who are you? Do I know you?"
Before Gao Han had time to get angry, he heard Ye Tianjiao say: "I know, you’ve escaped from the mental hospital again. It’s okay to be sick, but not seeking treatment is a problem."
Gao Han’s veins bulged, the words were sharper than a knife, jumping out of his mouth one by one: "Am I nuts? Ye Tianjiao, when you married me, how come you didn’t say I was nuts?"
"Indeed, if I weren’t nuts, would you have been able to take my money? Now that I’m destitute, you want to find someone else and you’re making a fuss about it, aren’t you"
"But you should take a good look at yourself, being pregnant, who else would want you? Don’t end up losing even more while trying to gain an advantage, not every man in the world is as stupid as me."
