"CEO." His voice was clear and bright, showing no signs of sleepiness at all.
Years of being a top assistant, Ah Chuan had developed the ability to answer Jun Mochan’s calls immediately.
Despite his voice sounding perfectly normal, he was actually still shutting his eyes.

The next day, he woke up late and saw numerous messages on his phone, all from Ye Ranran. There were no calls though.

Faced with her considerateness, Jun Mochan felt somewhat helpless. Didn’t she have any sense of crisis? Wasn’t she afraid that he could be doing something behind her back?
Once, out of curiosity, he had asked her what her response would be if such a situation arose.
"What’s mine is mine, and what’s not can’t be kept even if held onto. If one day you stop loving me, would it help if I cry and nag?"
When love is lost, it’s lost. There’s no reason why and it can’t be maintained by force.
Even though her words were slightly pessimistic, Jun Mochan had to admit that she was right.
Just as Jun Mochan’s thoughts were starting to wander, his phone rang again.
It was from Ah Chuan. Apparently, there was an issue with Han Yan. She was supposed to go to the TV station at noon but hadn’t shown up at all, being an hour late already. Her manager couldn’t get in touch with her, so the TV station had no choice but to reach out to them.
"If she doesn’t show up, cancel it. And don’t ever use her again. Also, spread the word that whoever uses her will be going against me, Jun Mochan!"
