Her consolation was of no use to Luo Qi, who remained despondent.

"Ranran, are you okay?" Luo Qi rushed to her aid.
Ye Ranran forced a smile: "It’s okay. The chair was just uneven."
Luo Qi hurriedly helped her up: "You could sit that long on an uneven chair, are you a fool?"
"I just didn’t want to go through the trouble of changing it. It was fine until the moment I felt joy, and then I lost my footing." Ye Ranran said half-jokingly.
But her hand was clutching Luo Qi’s tightly, the force was so strong that it caused Luo Qi pain.
"Ranran, what’s wrong?"
"I guess I just hurt myself a little while ago, but I’m okay now." Ye Ranran lied.
Luo Qi took it seriously: "Are you okay? Do you need to go to the hospital?"
Ye Ranran shook her head, her face a bit stern: "I’m fine. I’m a little tired. Let the driver take you home first."
"No way. I’m going to take you home." Luo Qi refused without hesitation.
"I’m close to J.C. and I want to visit my husband." Ye Ranran lowered her head, looking somewhat embarrassed.
Luo Qi didn’t even think about it, she pretended to stomp her foot in anger: "You prioritize love over friendship, I’m not going to bother with you."
Watching Luo Qi get in the car, the smile disappeared from Ye Ranran’s face, replaced by a thick layer of frost.
She dialed Jun Mochan’s number, and as soon as the call connected, Ye Ranran couldn’t help but blurt out: "Honey, is Ah Chuan with you?"
"Wife, you’re calling me just to search for another man?" There was no anger in Jun Mochan’s words, clearly he was just teasing Ye Ranran.
"I just saw him with another woman. You already knew, didn’t you?" Ye Ranran’s question had a hint of accusation.
The smile gradually faded from Jun Mochan’s face: "Ranran, stay out of this."
