Ye Ranran quickly ended the call, when he called again, she became annoyed and switched off the phone.

Just as the call connected, Chu Ji’s raging shout came through: "Ye Ranran!"
"My ears aren’t deaf, why are you shouting?" Ye Ranran moved the phone slightly away from her ear and rubbed it.
Sensing that something was off from the tone of her voice, Chu Ji asked through gritted teeth, "Please don’t tell me you haven’t gotten out of bed yet?"
Ye Ranran glanced at the time, and after confirming she was not mistaken, responded, "It’s only ten in the morning, why are you yelling?"
"Only ten? When do you eat your meals then?" Chu Ji asked incredulously.
"I eat whenever I get up. What do you want from me? You’re not just calling to chat, are you?"
Chu Ji swore, if Ye Ranran were here right now, he would definitely strangle her.
"Wasn’t it you that called me?"
Ye Ranran suddenly recalled, "Oh, right, I was going to ask you, do you have anyone available?"
"I think I have a way to get you out of this mess, but you definitely can’t do it alone." Do I need to help him find someone?

A light chuckle came from the other end.

"How can I refuse my husband? Wait for me, I’ll be right there to join you." Ye Ranran crawled out of her bed.
The laughter on the other end of the line grew louder.
"I’ve already given the address to the driver. You can take your time, no need to rush. Have some toast before you come, don’t starve yourself." Jun Mochan instructed, considerate and gentle.
"Got it, I’ll take good care of myself, don’t worry." Ye Ranran put on her slippers and stood on the floor.
After hanging up, Ye Ranran prepared to toss her phone onto the bed when a new message popped up suddenly.
It was a news alert she had subscribed to, and one headline caught her eye.
She clicked on it, sure enough, it was about Ye Tianjing.
She quickly opened her computer, went to the news website, and clicked on the bold headline.
Ye Tianjing and a professor were standing disheveled in front of the police station door, circled by layers and layers of reporters.
"Manager Ye, rumors say Ye Corporation is having trouble with fund turnover, says that you’re doing...such work, is it true?"
"We hear the person beside you is your benefactor, can you confirm this, please provide an explanation, Manager Ye."
