She somehow found the strength to snatch Ye Tianjing’s phone from his hand.
"He’s currently at the Third Hospital, Ye Tianjiao is lying in a hospital bed, aren’t you going to go see her?" Those were the words that Ranran said without taking a single breath.
Everything had happened in an instant, Ye Tianjing came to his senses, tried with one hand to get his phone from Ranran, and with the other hand, he rudely shoved her.
With the last of her energy spent on those words, a mere nudge from Ye Tianjing sent her crashing towards the wall.
Just as she was about to make intimate contact with the wall, One swiftly stepped in front of her.
However, to Ranran, colliding into One’s chest was no different than hitting the wall, both were just as hard!
As Ranran was about to fall, dizzy and disoriented, One reached out and caught her in his arms.
"Ma’am? Are you okay?" Came his normally cold voice, now tinged with barely perceptible concern.
Ranran took a moment to recover, and shook her head.
"I will take you to the doctor." One turned and began to lead her away.
"No need, I’m still waiting for my sister to come out." Ranran looked towards the entrance of the medical room.
One had thoroughly been defeated by her persistence, but seeing her no longer wobbling, he eventually let her be.
He knew that until she saw the downfall of her enemy with her own eyes, she would not be appeased!
Ye Tianjing made several phone calls home, none of which were answered, he knew his mother and father must be on their way.
He lifted his head, glaring at Ranran with a murderously cold gaze: "Ranran, I never knew you could be so ruthless!"
Ranran smirked as if she had just heard the funniest joke, the corners of her eyes and eyebrows raising in amusement: "Haven’t you always believed that about me? Why even voice it out loud?"
Ye Tianjing was so infuriated by her response that he was left speechless, he could only stare at her with a glare that expressed his desire to rip her to shreds.
"In thirty minutes, your mother and father will definitely be here, right about when the surgery is probably finished..." Ranran blinked her large eyes twice, a sight that was utterly captivating.
If Ye Tianjing’s mother saw Ye Tianjiao being wheeled out of the operating room, she wondered how she would react. Ranran felt a sudden surge of anticipation!
Ye Tianjing instantly deduced Ranran’s intention, his face twisted in anger.
Ranran watched with great interest as his facial expression shifted dramatically.
"Ranran, I have to hand it to you, I never would have thought you were this capable." Ye Tianjing ground out each word through clenched teeth.
Welcoming Ye Tianjing’s begrudging praise with a cheerful smile, Ranran replied: "Thank you, I share that sentiment."
The sound of hurried footsteps echoed from the distant corridor, Ye Tianjing’s father, accompanied by his mother, rushed over here.
"Where is Tianjiao?" Upon seeing Ye Tianjing, his mother anxiously asked.
Ye Tianjing was at a loss for words, he could only shoot Ranran a resentful glare.
Ranran caught his glance with complete nonchalance, the corners of her eyes crinkling in amusement: "What’s the matter? Don’t know how to break the news to her? Shall I do it for you?"
The doors to the operating room opened just in time, a doctor, clad in a white coat, emerged.
Seeing two additional people at the entrance, he didn’t pay them much mind, simply nodded at Ranran and said, "It’s done, we’ve taken out the fetus."
The nurse behind him was carrying a small white tray, which held a bloodied shape that was vaguely humanoid.
Ye Tianjing’s mother’s eyes went black, and she promptly fainted.
Ye Tianjing’s father rushed to support her, "Doctor, she’s passed out, please help her."
The doctor stepped forward, lifted her eyelids and declared, "She will be fine, there’s no need to worry."
