"I’m vile? Do you think you’re better than me? Ye Ranran, I ruined you once, I can do it again. Don’t you believe me?" Xu Zi grabbed Ye Ranran’s arm.
Her nails dug into Ranran’s injured skin, sending a wave of pain through her arm.
Ye Ranran didn’t seem to feel the pain. Her face didn’t change. Just as she was about to say something, the door was pushed open.
Huo Yi appeared in front of the two, with the backlit.
"Xu Zi, you’re threatening Ranran again!" It wasn’t a question but a statement.
Xu Zi had no idea how long Huo Yi had been listening at the door. She turned to see him, and she was thrown into a panic.
"Ah Yi, I didn’t do anything, Ranran was threatening me, she said I won’t be able to protect our child." Xu Zi attempted to defend herself.
However, Ye Ranran did not utter a word. A faint smile hung on her face, as if she was watching an interesting drama.

"Our child? When did I ever acknowledge his existence?" The child was hers, he had nothing to do with it.

"Did you just arrive today? Where’s Jun Mochan? Why didn’t he come with you?" Huo Yi asked softly.
He had been on a mission recently and naturally wasn’t aware that something had happened to Jun Mochan.
"Instead of worrying about that, how about getting your wife to let go of me first?" If Xu Zi continued to hold on, Ye Ranran feared her wound might be reopened.
