"Let’s go, let’s visit grandpa." Ye Ranran didn’t want to continue talking with Jun Mochan.
Otherwise, she had no idea what else she might say.
She walked off hastily, her foot slipped, and seeing that she was about to fall, Jun Mochan was just in time to catch her.
It could’ve been a dreamy scene, but it was ruined by the bulky clothes.
"If you’re going to throw yourself at me, Ranran, you should find a better way." Jun Mochan firmly held Ye Ranran in his arms.
"Mr. Jun, could you have some decency?" Ye Ranran rolled her eyes in annoyance.
After facing a crisis, did he not have any shame left?
"Isn’t my face right here? Do you want to feel it?" Jun Mochan moved closer to Ye Ranran.
Ye Ranran could not avoid him and could only close her eyes.
A chuckle immediately filled her ears. Knowing she had been played, Ye Ranran opened her eyes abruptly, glaring angrily at Jun Mochan.
"Ranran, do you want me to kiss you?" Jun Mochan’s fingers played with a strand of Ye Ranran’s hair.
Embarrassed, she snapped, "Who wants your kisses? It’s because you were leaning too close..."
What a mess, what was she saying? If he gets close to her and she closes her eyes, wasn’t that practically inviting him to kiss her?
"So what if I got close?" Jun Mochan looked at her with interest.
"Nothing." Ye Ranran wisely shut her mouth.
Seeing the blush on her face, Jun Mochan didn’t push her further. He knew when to stop.
"Let’s go. Let’s visit grandpa." Jun Mochan casually hugged Ye Ranran’s waist and led her forward.
With Jun Mochan guiding her, Ye Ranran walked more steadily.
There was an old servant in the house. Upon seeing Jun Mochan, he quickly greeted, "Second young master."
"Mm, where’s grandpa?"
"The old leader is inside." The servant opened the door.
The room was as warm as spring, a completely different world from outside. The sound of a play could be heard.
It turned out an old man was watching a drama in the room. The language was pleasant but hard to understand for Ye Ranran.
She slowly walked up to the old man.
Then she slowly squatted down to meet his gaze.
The old man’s eyes were vacant, his face adorned with a childish laugh, staring blankly at the TV, completely oblivious to the two new arrivals in the room.
"Grandpa." Ye Ranran put her hand on his knee and called him tentatively.
The old man looked down very slowly, staring blankly at Ye Ranran for a long while, not saying a word.
"Grandpa, I’m Ye Ranran, the girl who used to come over often when I was young, the granddaughter of your comrade, do you remember me?" Ye Ranran’s eyes sparkled with a radiant smile.
That bright smile gradually brought a vague face to the old man’s mind.
"Ranran?" He looked at Ye Ranran with puzzled confusion.
Ye Ranran nodded, "Yes, I’m Ye Ranran. Do you remember me?"
Scattered scenes flashed through the old man’s mind. The bright little girl had brought him so much joy that he couldn’t forget her.
"I remember, you’re Ranran, comrade’s granddaughter." the old man said clearly.
Ye Ranran looked at the old man with surprise, "Grandpa, do you still recognize me?"
"You’ve grown so much all at once, where have you been all these years?" The old man warmly asked while holding Ye Ranran’s hands.
"I was making my way in the world, and now I’ve come back." Ye Ranran smiled even more, "Grandpa, how have you been these years?"
"Have I been well?" The old man asked himself several times, "Yes, I’ve been very well."
