"Have some more of this." Jun Mochan added a piece of mutton to Ye Ranran’s bowl.
Ye Ranran looked at the meat in her bowl, furrowing her brows. Could she not eat it? She’d been eating meat all this time and felt like she was gaining weight.
"Are your hands hurting? I’ll feed you." Jun Mochan interpreted Ye Ranran’s look of distress as something else.
Was he doing this on purpose?
"I can do it myself." Ye Ranran bent over to eat, eating so quickly she inevitably choked.
Jun Mochan quickly patted her back, "Careful, don’t rush, no one is fighting for food with you."
If he didn’t anger her, she would surely be alright.
"Why are you still like a child?" Mother Huo commented.
"Don’t be surprised, mom, Ranran had always been ."
Was it really appropriate to belittle her in front of her face?
"Her hand is not good, it’s better for you to feed her." Mother Huo suggested.
"Mum has spoken, so I can only obey." Jun Mochan took the chopsticks from Ye Ranran’s hands. "Madam, what would you like?"
The attention of everyone at the table was focused on Ye Ranran.
Ye Ranran wished she could dig a hole and hide in it. Ignoring her embarrassment, Jun Mochan looked at her expectantly.
"Shrimp," Ye Ranran said defiantly.
Jun Mochan picked up a shrimp, peeled it for her, and set it by her mouth.
Ye Ranran swallowed it whole.
Seeing that everybody’s gaze was still fixed on her, she hesitated and lowered her head. "Why are you all looking at me?"
"Eat, hurry up and eat," Mother Huo said.
Huo Yi suddenly stood up, "I’m full, you guys take your time."
"You haven’t touched your meal and you’re full already?"
Huo Yi didn’t answer, he walked straight upstairs.
The smile at the corner of Jun Mochan’s mouth faded a bit.
How could he not see Ye Ranran’s embarrassment? If her hand was fine, he wouldn’t dare trouble her.
Now that she can’t move her hand, even if he knew, he could only pretend not to see it. Moreover, acting this way was like a silent warning to Xu Zi.

The meal was finished amid Ye Ranran’s embarrassment.
After Father Huo called Jun Mochan to the study to discuss business, Ye Ranran waited for him in the room.
She turned on her computer and looked at the latest issue of S.Z magazine.
Her column had been deserted for a while, and she had planned to shut it down, but then Jun Mochan came back.

When Huo Yi came in, he saw Ye Ranran on the phone.

"I have something to do, so I need to hang up now, we can discuss the details later." Ye Ranran hung up the phone and looked at Huo Yi, "What is it?"
"Can’t I come to you if there’s nothing wrong?" Huo Yi stood in front of her, looking down at her.
Ye Ranran instantly felt the pressure, she quickly stood up, "Of course, you can’t, because I don’t think I have anything to say to you."
"But I have something to say to you." Huo Yi moved closer to Ye Ranran.
Ye Ranran didn’t show any fear, looking at him, "What do you want to say to me?"
"Just that I genuinely like your stubbornness." Huo Yi reached out, wanting to touch Ye Ranran’s face.
Ye Ranran slapped his hand away, "Please, show some respect!"
Without giving Huo Yi a chance to speak, Ye Ranran walked away, not understanding what was wrong with him this time.
