"The villa has been cleaned. Wait for me at home?" The tone of his voice was decisive, implying no room for Ye Ranran to refuse.

"There’s no need for formalities. I am here today in the capacity of a designer to discuss something with you," Ye Ranran walked in.
Today, unlike the previous time, she did not have a crowd of people around her, but the director’s respect for her did not lessen in the slightest.

Ye Ranran spent an hour in the Director’s office. When she walked out ready to call her driver for pick-up, she saw an attention-grabbing man standing in the lobby.

Ye Ranran frowned, "Why so high profile?"
She remembered not telling him that she would be back, let alone asking him for a pick-up.
"If I say I just happened to pass by and saw you, would you believe me?"
"If you said it, then I must believe it. Why would I doubt you?" Ye Ranran rolled her eyes and walked towards him.
The look of indifference on Chu Ji’s face melted into a genuine smile due to Ye Ranran’s offhand comments.
"Have you eaten? Are you cold?"
The change in conversation was so abrupt that Ye Ranran was a bit baffled, but she still answered, "I had some snacks earlier, so I am not particularly hungry. The office is heated, so how could I feel cold?"
Seeing Ye Ranran holding her coat in her left hand, Chu Ji knew her right hand must not be fully healed so he naturally took it and helped her put it on; "We’re about to go out, wear this."

"No need. Just take me back to the villa."
Everything was just as she left it in the villa, even the maid and the butler were still around. It was as if nothing had changed.
Probably Jun Mochan had spoken to them, after Ye Ranran returned, both of them acted as if nothing had happened at all.
