To hide the marks on her neck, Ye Ranran had to wear a collared top, still wearing trousers.

Ye Ranran’s legs were thin, long, and white, often attracting attention when she wore skirts.
Although the collar covered some of the marks, some were still visible. The ambiguous look from their housekeeper while having breakfast made Ye Ranran wish she could hide in a hole.

Ye Ranran was initially angry but after Luo Qi stood up for her, she instantly cooled down.
"Believe it or not, is that important? If you’re capable, why don’t you go and climb into someone’s bed?" Ye Ranran scoffed.
Ling Yun, mouth agape with no retort, pointed at Ye Ranran before stomping off.
"Ranran, ignore her. I believe you got this through your own capabilities." Luo Qi gave Ye Ranran a thumbs up.
Ye Ranran gave her a small smile, feeling a bit warmed from inside.
Fuming, Ling Yun stormed into the office of the head of the Film and Television Department. Ling Chao was on the phone, responding to whatever the other party was telling him.
After hanging up the phone, Ling Chao looked at Ling Yun, "Why are you here?"
"Uncle, didn’t you say that I would be the costume designer for this drama? Why did you replace me?" Ling Yun stomped her foot.
"For you? You know what your level is," Ling Chao sneered.
"What’s my level? How much better could Ye Ranran be? I don’t accept it. Tell me honestly, did she seduce you, crawl into your bed?"
Ling Yun’s words made Ling Chao’s face drop: "Ling Yun, mind your words. Only the two of us are here; I will assume you never said this."
