Soon, the Poison Dragon Island Master, Jin Qiu, Xiang Tian, Xue Jianke, and Lin Bai formed a circle, and Hua Wanqing, Sha Tongtian, and others formed another one.
Just as the two circles formed, a dense swarm of fish stormed in from the front.
On earnest inspection, Lin Bai saw that these fishes had sharp teeth and fangs, looking very ugly, being only about the size of a palm, their eyes wide open in a menacing manner.

Lin Bai drew his Qingge Sword, striking down with lightning speed, killing the passing Fish Demon.

When Lin Bai turned around, he saw that a large chunk of flesh from Sha Tongtian’s arm was bitten off, revealing the bare white bones.
Among the others, both Jin Qiu and Xiang Tian also had a chunk of their flesh torn off by these Soul Devouring Fish Demons.

A roar of a giant beast resounded, stirring the water flow.

That roar was deep and resonant, the sound permeated with an oppressive force.
The Poison Dragon Island Master said, "I guess it’s a giant beast."

"In the Lost Sea, mighty prehistoric beasts live. These demon beasts, with their huge bodies and gaping mouths, seem capable of swallowing the sky. Any warrior in front of them would appear as insignificant as an ant."
"Therefore, we call these enormous and powerful demon beasts ’giant beasts’ or ’prehistoric giant beasts’."
"A giant beast’s life is extraordinarily strong. Regular demon beasts might die after a few sword slashes, but a severely injured giant beast can still heal quickly."
"We need to be careful. if we encounter a giant beast, it would be dangerous."
The Poison Dragon Island Master spoke solemnly with lips tight with seriousness.
For once, Lin Bai showed a touch of curiosity, never having imagined such enormous demon beasts inhabiting the sea.
This muffled roar kept on reverberating, sending a sonic wave that swept across Lin Bai and others.

"We’re in trouble," Lin Bai said coldly.
"Is it the giant beast?" The Poison Dragon Island Master exclaimed.
"Poison Dragon Island Master, we can’t stay here. Once we’re trapped by these Soul Devouring Fish Demons, who knows how many more strange things will emerge from the sea. We need to break free," Lin Bai said coldly.
"Lin Bai makes sense. We have to fight our way out," The Poison Dragon Island Master agreed with a nod.
"Lin Bai, you go, I’ll hold off these Soul Devouring Fish Demons,"
After a moment of consideration, the Poison Dragon Island Master told Lin Bai.
"There are thousands of Soul Devouring Fish Demons... Are you sure you can escape?" Lin Bai asked with a worried look.
"Hahaha, it’s not just thousands, even if there were tens of thousands, I wouldn’t be scared. Now, witness the power of my poison cultivation. Go, or you’ll be sucked into my poisoned waters," the Poison Dragon Island Master said with a cold laugh.
"Take care then," Lin Bai stated.
"Lin Bai, Xue Jianke, the two of you are probably the strongest amongst us, second only to me. I hope you can, by any means necessary, seal that gap."
"The future of the East Sea depends on both of you."
The Poison Dragon Island Master spoke while taking a deep bow.
"We will do our best," Xue Jianke gave a slight nod and said seriously.
"Lin Mou will definitely do his part," Lin Bai also nodded deeply.
Upon hearing these words, Jin Qiu and Xiang Tianyi bid the Poison Dragon Island Master goodbye.
Lin Bai soared to the circle formed by Sha Tongtian and others and said, "We’re breaking through, the Poison Dragon Island Master will be blocking the Fish Demons for us."

Lin Bai looked up and saw a massive swarm of Soul Devouring Fish Demons swimming busily around them, forming a gigantic circular barrier which sealed off all escape routes for Lin Bai and the others.
Lin Bai analyzed the encircling fish swarm and then spoke.
"I can slash a passageway, but you must move fast. If you’re too slow, the opened path will be filled again by new Soul Devouring Fish Demons," Lin Bai stated seriously.
"Hmph, just anyone can boast, but with your petty strength, you dare claim you can slash an opening in this swarm of fish? I don’t buy it." Sha Tongtian retorted coldly.
"If you have a better plan now, say it. I will listen. If not, then shut the f*ck up and do as I say," Lin Bai glared at Sha Tongtian and roared.
"You dare to speak to me , you’re courting death!" Sha Tongtian bellowed.
With that outburst, Sha Tongtian wildly raised his battle blade, aiming to kill Lin Bai.
