The Villainess Wants a Divorce:Beast Husbands Regret It to Tears Chapter 62

Seraphina Caldwell felt a warmth in her heart.

As long as it’s stored in the space, she can skin and tan it slowly later; there’s plenty of time!

Not only can it be made into equipment, but the remaining materials can be kept for use or exchanged for resources.

This is a windfall!

She quickly turned around and shouted to everyone.

"I’m going to freshen up, I’ll be right back!"

Before the words were even finished, she had turned around and disappeared into the grass.

Isaac Vaughn and Wyatt Yardley both frowned, their expressions changed.

They just finished a battle here, the place was a mess, and who knows what beasts might be lurking in the dark?

The stench of corpses mixed with the smell of blood, it’s a predator’s favorite scent.

She’s running into Veridia all alone, it’s too dangerous!

One wrong move, and they might not even find her body.

The two of them rushed after her at the same time.

Only Kaelan Hawthorne, Gideon Larkin, and Evan Orwell remained standing, stunned.

Kaelan Hawthorne crossed his arms, a cold smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.

"Truly foolish."

He recalled how Seraphina Caldwell had looked when she was beaten before, thinking her current state was just asking for trouble.

Gideon Larkin scratched his head, looking utterly baffled.

"Everything was fine just now, why did it suddenly escalate?"

He hadn’t grasped the underlying tension in those two sentences, only feeling the atmosphere suddenly plummet to freezing point.

Evan Orwell said nothing, but his gaze remained fixed deep within the grass.

Once Seraphina Caldwell entered the grass, she immediately held her breath and summoned her thoughts.

In an instant, the space rippled slightly, and the massive body silently disappeared from sight.

Clapping her hands, she breathed a sigh of relief, checking herself to see if she was stained with blood or dirt.

Just as she was about to turn around, heavy footsteps suddenly approached from behind.

Her heart skipped a beat: Oh no!

Who would believe that a three hundred-pound beast could vanish into thin air?

Even if she is the female leader, she must provide an explanation, but right now she cannot.

Clenching her teeth, she boldly lunged towards Isaac Vaughn, who was walking in front, wrapping her arms tightly around his waist.

"I’m ready! Let’s go, don’t waste time."

Isaac Vaughn was taken aback by her sudden embrace, his body slightly stiffened.

He raised a hand, hugging her slender waist and brushed a kiss on her lips.

"Alright, let’s go."

How...

Everyone seems to be kissing a lot?

She muttered to herself, her cheeks slightly flushed.

But considering they were still in heat, she didn’t pursue the thought further.

Seeing Isaac Vaughn had no intention of investigating the suspicious noise in the grass, she felt relieved.

Breaking free from his embrace, she hurriedly grabbed his arm.

"Let’s... go ahead."

So she led him back the way they came.

Wyatt Yardley followed behind, his pace unhurried, his gaze fixed on the two figures walking side by side ahead.

Just now, the sight of Seraphina Caldwell throwing herself into Isaac Vaughn’s arms unexpectedly pierced his heart.

Isaac Vaughn arrived later, why should he be first?

He thought silently, his gaze deepening.

The group returned to the riverbank, Isaac Vaughn bent down, carefully lifting Seraphina Caldwell into his arms.

Wyatt Yardley followed into the water, his gaze still ahead.

Kaelan Hawthorne, Gideon Larkin, and Evan Orwell joined in on the trail along the river.

The little female in his arms quietly curled up, breathing evenly, Isaac Vaughn tightened his grip.

She truly is different now.

No longer with that cryptic attitude, or quick to show displeasure.

She now discreetly administers medicine when he’s hurt, asks others if they’re cold.

He used to suspect it was all an act, a disguise for some ulterior motive.

But now, he believed.

Her kindness is real, genuine from the heart.

Luckily, he realized early, if delayed a few more days, she might actually break the contract and find someone else.

No, he must seize the opportunity.

Absolutely no chance for her to mention breaking the contract, no room for a hint of hesitation.

Wyatt Yardley seemed to notice something and suddenly turned his head, glancing at him.

Isaac Vaughn met his gaze, unwavering.

He must vie for Seraphina Caldwell’s top choice as Beast Husband.

An undercurrent of tension brewed between them, but Seraphina Caldwell remained oblivious.

Her consciousness was already drifting into her personal space.

Upon entering, her eyes sparkled.

The fruit tree was laden with heavy, red fruits.

Nearby vines bore clusters of plump tubers.

She squatted down, carefully selecting ripe Earth Potato Fruits.

Then, she took out a small knife and cut them into sprouted pieces.

She leaned over, meticulously burying each piece into the loose, dark soil.

Considering they were traveling by water, unable to tend to crops continually,

She willed some external water to gently irrigate the newly planted shoots.

A glance to the corner spotted the inconspicuous little clay pot holding the thorny fruit tree’s withered branches.

Initially, with a mindset of giving it a try, she had dripped two drops of Spiritual Spring into it, unexpectedly, it sprouted!

She carefully transferred the sprouting branch into prepared fresh soil.

Again, gently water it with a bit of Spiritual Spring.

She then noticed the level of Spiritual Spring Water had risen slightly.

Unlike last time when it suddenly surged.

Despite kissing both Wyatt Yardley and Isaac Vaughn, besides a slight increase in Spiritual Spring, nothing else happened in the space.

Could it be that space upgrades depend on the intensity of kisses?

Or does the depth of emotions and sincerity affect the growth of Spiritual Spring?

Seraphina Caldwell pondered deeply over the clear pool of Spiritual Spring Water.

Isaac Vaughn’s voice suddenly echoed in her ears.

"Seraphina Caldwell, how are you feeling?"

She snapped back to reality, lifting her head to meet Isaac Vaughn’s gaze.

He was so close, nearly touching her forehead with his nose.

Seraphina Caldwell instinctively stepped back, almost staggering against a protruding stone.

She quickly turned her head.

"What? What did you say? I didn’t hear..."

She was busy picking things up and had no time for his words.

Isaac Vaughn observed her dodging demeanor, a trace of amusement surfaced in his eyes.

He leaned in gently.

"The mating period is hard to suppress. Let’s find a place to rest earlier today, alright? You’ll steady me, won’t you?"

Seraphina Caldwell immediately inquired.

"Can we reach the Eagle Clan Village before dusk tomorrow?"

All she thought about was seeing her father quickly, unwilling to delay even for a moment.

Shaking off these enigmatic antagonists was her top priority.

Isaac Vaughn smiled, ruffling her hair gently.

"Traveling by water is fast, it won’t delay us. Before sunset tomorrow, we’ll be there."

She breathed a sigh of relief and nodded immediately.

"Alright, then let’s rest early."

His words didn’t prompt deep thoughts, her mind was blank.

Sleeping together for a night was something she was already accustomed to.

In the past, within the tribe, male Beast Husbands would also hold her for a peaceful slumber.

To her, it was a mundane routine, nothing worth avoiding.

But once she spoke, Isaac Vaughn’s eyes lit up.

He leaned down, gently kissing her forehead.

"Alright."

This simple "alright", however, left the other Beast Husbands astonished.

Wyatt Yardley said nothing, his serpent tail swayed, splashing lightly as he swam beside them.

At the moment, he was still in beast form; Seraphina Caldwell couldn’t see his face.

"Seraphina Caldwell, don’t force yourself."

Seraphina Caldwell froze, full of questions.
