His question was laced with innuendo, the kind that sent a tingle straight to Li Xingwan’s toes.
They resembled a couple of newlyweds.
"Hmm?" He stepped forward as if he intended to give her an inspection.
Li Xingwan promptly raised her head to look at him. "It’s fine, it’s fine. No trouble at all."
As long as he didn’t overdo it.
Fu Chengzhou chuckled and reached out to embrace her. "That’s good, then."
"What’s good? What are you two whispering about?" Little Mobao called out from below. "Last night, you deliberately sent me away, not letting me sleep on the same floor as you two. Hmph!"
She looked up at Fu Chengzhou, who slightly raised an eyebrow. Indeed, last night he had intentionally sent the little guy away.
