The female employee was still hovering in the entrance of the office.
"Call master Yuz, hurry." He instructed her.
He then turned his gaze back on to Alix. With what sounded like coquettishness, he said to her. "We can repair that pearl bracelet for you beloved guest. We can even replace the old pearls with new ones."
"It's not necessary." She told him.
She touched the bracelet and smiled softly. Whether the pearls were old, crooked, fake or real, she didn't care.
Tai Ho Sun was nothing if not observant. He was also determined to get the imperial jade. What if she took it to Re-cee after receiving a valuation from them? He changed tactics and went a different way.
"It's a gift I take it, one of sentimental value it seems. In that case, please allow me to replace the string with something much more beautiful while we discuss business."

Alix looked at the bracelet with love as she thought about It's beauty before Jing Hee's feet and her father's forceful ripping it off her wrist came along.
Her mother would be heartbroken if she saw it now.
"Yes, please make it pretty."
She took it off and handed it over to him.
While he fixed it as they waited for master Yuz, Alix opened the game.
Before she could start playing, she received a phone call.
"Director Ban," she answered, speaking softly so that she didn't have to shout for Tai Ho Sun.
"Miss Lin, hello." His voice came from the other end of the phone, soft and polite.
"Mm, hello. What can I do for you director?" She asked.
"Is it too late for me to take option B of your proposal? I have had time to think about things and decided to take you up on your offer. If you don't mind, I would like to schedule a meeting at your earliest convenience so that we can discuss formally and sign an official contract." he explained.
Alix squealed in excitement and quickly covered her mouth. "Yes, I would love that director Ban, thank you for taking a chance on me. I will book a restaurant, we can meet up today itself for lunch if you don't mind.
If it's a formal meeting should I come with my lawyer?"
"Yes, I think that will be for the best as I am coming with my own attorney." He told her.
The female employee returned at that moment with an older man that was walking in a hurry.
"Show me, where is it?" He bellowed.
Alix bid director Ban farewell and she looked at Tai Ho Sun.
He handed the documents to master Yuz, opened the box with the imperial jade and went back to repairing the bracelet.
It was almost done since all he needed to do was insert the pearls in a more beautiful bracelet.
He added small crystal blue and white butterflies in the gaps to make up for half of the missing pearls.
"The document is authentic, this is paper which was produced in the 1800's." Master Ruz declared.
Quickly, he abandoned the document for the imperial jade.
"I say it's worth at least nineteen million. The quality is much better than anything we have seen before and it looks like it was precisely cut to fit something. If we can create exclusive and exquisite jewelry from the jade then we stand to make...."
"Master Yuz!!" Tai Ho Sun shouted.
He cooked his head in Alix's direction. Had master Yuz forgotten that the seller was here? If she knew how much they stood to make she might ask for a ridiculous price.
"Mmm-hmm, I will excuse myself now." Looking reluctantly at the imperial jade as if he was parking from his lover, master Yuz left the office.
"I want twenty million." Alix blurted out.
She had a class to teach, hopefully if madam Qian had not locked them out of their offices. It was best to take the plunge and just finish the sell in one go.
"Wow, you just clearly came with a price in mind." he said.
He even added a chuckle and nodded his head, his eyes expressing amusement.
"I know that value of what I have and I am a busy woman. I came this early because I have other things to do later." she answered.
She spokes seriously, trying to sound like a hardened businesswoman. In her mind, she was thinking, "Say yes, say yes."
Tai Ho Sun held her bracelet out with both hands and stood up.
"Here, I will help you put it on."
"No thank you, I will do it myself." she insisted.
He did not persist and he gave it to her. Then, he went back to his chair and made a phone call.
Alix admired the bracelet with adoring eyes. It was all sparkly and pretty. It looked brand new, her mother would have loved it.
"Please give me your account number, the money will be wired to you directly."
"So fast." she said, partially stunned and partially excited.
Tai Ho Sun wanted to laugh but he resisted the urge. She was trying so hard to look serious but she came off looking like an excited young woman instead.
"Hey, Mr. Tai, say hypothetically, if I had more family heirlooms to sell..."
Tai Ho Sun pushed himself closer eagerly. There was more she wanted to sell!!
He wanted it all.
"No, never mind." she waved her hand and leaned back in the chair.
Tai Ho Sun clenched his hands from under the table to try and not appear so eager. She had more to sell, why she would sell off precious family heirlooms was not his business but he still thought about it.
Was she desperate for money?
"Miss, why don't we exchange contacts and keep in constant communication. Hypothetically, if you have anything else to sell, please think of me and our TFK first."
He held his phone out and smiled, extremely politely.
Alix did not have any qualms about that. It looked like she would be picking up gems here and there in the game. If she picked up those which did not draw a lot curiosity to herself, she would sell to him.
"En, I hope we will have a successful cooperation."
The TFK lawyer came to the office with a contract of sale. It was standard for anything involving large transactions. The money was transferred immediately.
Alix bought a few pieces of jewelry from them and then she left TFK jewelry a millionaire.
As soon as she left his office, Tai Ho Sun looked at her name on the contract, looked at her moments on we chat and searched for information about her name online.
"She is married." he whispered to himself.
When he saw her name mentioned in article related to Zhang construction, a memory in his mind was conjured up. "Aah, young master Zhang's new bride."
In his mind, Tai Ho Sun jumped to the conclusion that Alix was probably in an unhappy marriage. Why else would a rich man's wife be selling off her family heirlooms for money.
