Early in the morning, Qi Jianyi woke up with reluctance on her face. Today was He Zejin's birthday. Because she skipped class without Ling Xi the other day, that friend of hers threatened her to come to the party or else she would not leave Qi Jianyi alone and pestered her everywhere.
Qi Jianyi had no choice but to accept her fate. Who made her abandon Ling Xi in order to get some sleep in the first place? Now she only reaped what she sowed.

"Qi Jianyi, where the hell have you been? Did you die? Why should I live in your stead and go to the party?!" Qi Jianyi bumped her head to her pillow. Summoning the original Qi Jianyi to take back her body.
"Is your life so miserable that I have to step in and live this life for you huh? Then who will live my life for me?" Qi Jianyi sighed, resigned to her fate that she seemed to become crazy as time passed.
After a long battle with herself, Qi Jianyi finally started to wash up and get ready for the party. The birthday party started at noon and would last until late midnight. The young woman already made her decision to appear for an hour before leaving the party. After all, it's not her birthday and she's only a side character with no script.
Why bother staying until late night when she could disappear as soon as He Zejin cut his birthday's cake?
After finished dressing up, Qi Jianyi looked at herself in the mirror. Admiring her beautiful face and figure for a moment.
"She looks exactly like me. So this is what I would look like if I was born in a rich family. Perfect." Qi Jianyi relented in her heart. Forgot for a moment that the person in the mirror was her.
She walked out from her dressing room and headed downstairs. Her steps became heavier as time passed, not wanting to go. She was hoping someone would stop her.
"Are you going to Zejin's birthday party?" Mrs.Qi greets her daughter with a kind smile on her face.
Qi Jianyi nodded slowly to her mother's question, "I will just drop by for a while and come back."
Mrs.Qi noticed the reluctance in her daughter's tone but said nothing. It was good for her daughter to get along with others.
"Since you're going, why don't you take your brothers with you?" Mrs.Qi changed the topic and suggested.
Qi Jinlu who just walked downstairs quickly retorted his mother, "No need mom, uncle Yan can send us."
He already knew what his sister's answer would be. So why bother waiting for her to say it? Qi Jinli stood behind his brother and said nothing. The teen boy has always been quiet and cherished words like gold.
"Shut up, mom is not talking to you." Mrs.Qi glared at her sons. Both were unreliable and only knew how to start a fight with their sister despite not getting any reaction every time.
Mrs.Qi always wondered how far could her daughter's patience go as she never reacted to any of her brother's spiteful actions. Unfortunately, if only Mrs.Qi could know. Qi Jianyi never liked her brothers so she would always act as if they didn't exist in this house.
As time goes by, the original Qi Jianyi has mastered the art of ignoring the twins' existence.
Qi Jianyi spared a glance at the twins for the first time since she transmigrated. Maybe because she had received the memories of the original owner, she also could feel the hatred towards her younger brothers. Those emotions were very strong but it was buried deeply in the original owner's heart.

"Are you done? I'm leaving." Qi Jianyi asked with a monotonous tone. She walked to her front door, but stopped after realising that there were no footsteps following her.
Qi Jianyi looked back and saw both of her brothers were still standing at the stairs with their stupid look.
"Are you not coming? We'll be late." Qi Jianyi asked once again. Not understanding why her brothers didn't move.
Qi Jianyi's acceptance to take her little brothers made the twins and Mrs.Qi surprised. After all, no matter how many times Mrs.Qi tries to ease the relationship between them, it never works. Finally, her daughter has softened her heart and may eventually accept her brothers.
Mrs.Qi looked at her sons' stupid face, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. She slapped Qi Jinlu arm, "what are you waiting for? Your sister is willing to take you with her. Go quickly, behave and don't make trouble for your sister and listen to her!"
Qi Jinlu quickly regained his composure and nodded to his mother, "Yes mom, we'll listen to you." He answered half-mindedly, not really listening to Mrs.Qi words.
Both Qi Jinlu and Qi Jinli steps were stiff as they walked towards Qi Jianyi. Meanwhile Qi Jianyi watched their reactions with amusement and tried to cover up her laughter.
"We will go first mom." Qi Jianyi waved to her mother and walked out of the house.
Mrs.Qi stared at her children with red eyes. It was the first time she saw her children standing together side by side. Seeing how her two sons followed their sister made her smile. This is something worth teasing about later.
"Be careful on the road, come back early. Jinlu, Jinli, listen to your sister and be good." Mrs.Qi nodded to Qi Jianyi and warned her sons for the last time.
