This Is Definitely Not Dragon Ball!! Chapter 15

Over half a month later, Yuujin and Goku emerged from the forest and arrived at the southern seaside.

Seagulls soared in the sky, and fish leaped out of the water. Such a lively and vibrant ocean was a rare sight on Planet Vegeta, causing Goku to dance with joy, while Yuujin also felt a slight thrill in his heart.

Based on some information from the original story and inquiries along the way, Yuujin had finally gathered some clues about Master Roshi.

If the information was correct, Master Roshi lived on a small island near this sea!

"Goku, hold on tight."

"Iya iya..."

Not bothering to make a small boat or raft, since such things wouldn't go far on the sea, Yuujin had Goku hold on to him as he directly jumped into the ocean.

With Yuujin's current strength, swimming tens or even hundreds of kilometers in the sea was no problem. They would search this way for now, and if it didn't work out, they could always swim back.

As the seawater rushed against them, Goku initially clung tightly to Yuujin in fear but soon grew bold, letting go and swimming on her own. However, with her tiny arms and legs, she couldn't swim very fast, and a single wave could easily sweep her far away, forcing Yuujin to bring her back.

After swimming in the vast ocean for half a day, Yuujin felt a bit tired but still hadn't found the island where Master Roshi was supposed to be. Just as he was considering returning to shore and trying again later, he suddenly saw a group of dolphins passing by.

"Mr. Dolphin, do you know where Master Roshi's island is?"

"Master Roshi's island? Yes, we do. It's in the waters just a little to the south. We're about to pass by there."

"Great! Can you give us a ride?"

"Sure, hop on."

Encountering a group of intelligent and friendly dolphins who even knew the location of Master Roshi's island, Yuujin was delighted. He hugged Goku and climbed onto one of the dolphins' backs.

Riding the waves and enjoying the comfortable sea breeze while heading south on the dolphin, Yuujin couldn't help but marvel at how magical this world was, far more interesting than his previous life on Earth, which only had humans as intelligent beings.

With the dolphins' help, it didn't take long before an island appeared in Yuujin's view. However, rather than calling it an island, it was more of a small beach.

On the beach, there was a patch of grass, a few coconut trees, and in the middle of the sand stood a small house labeled "KAMEHOUSE." Beside the house, a turtle was sunbathing.

"Mr. Dolphin, thank you very much."

After thanking the dolphins for the ride, Yuujin jumped onto the island with Goku.

"Turtle, is Master Roshi, at home?"

Yuujin asked as he approached the turtle.

"Master Roshi is out, but he should be back soon. If you're not in a hurry, you can wait here."

The turtle stuck its head out of its shell and said.

"Then we'll take the liberty of waiting."

Since Master Roshi wasn't home, Yuujin could only wait patiently.

Goku, seemingly curious about the turtle, climbed onto its shell and playfully chattered, but the turtle didn't mind.

After waiting for about an hour, a buzzing noise like that of a propeller was heard. A large turtle rapidly spinning in the air appeared in the distance, carrying an elderly man who was slowly flying closer.

"Youth, Master Roshi has returned."

The turtle stuck its head out of its shell again, and Yuujin perked up.

The elderly man wielded a wooden staff, had a turtle shell strapped to his back, sported a white beard, and wore stylish sunglasses. His shiny bald head gleamed brightly in the sunlight.

Though he looked quite flashy from head to toe, this man was indeed the true, legendary martial arts master, Master Roshi!

"Turtle, I'm back, woo woo woo..."

"Master Roshi, a young boy is here to see you."

Master Roshi jumped down from the flying turtle, and the turtle informed him.

"Youth, what brings you here?"

Master Roshi asked, noticing Yuujin and Goku.

"Hello, Master. My name is Yuujin, and she is Son Goku. We've come to seek training from you, Master."

Although Master Roshi was a bit eccentric in the original story, he was indeed a respected elder, so Yuujin politely greeted him and expressed his intention.

"You want to learn martial arts from me?"

"Yes."

Master Roshi was a bit surprised, while Yuujin nodded.

It wasn't unusual for someone to want to learn martial arts from him. After all, he was the founder of the "Turtle School" and revered as the god of martial arts, with countless people seeking him out for training.

But what really surprised Master Roshi was how young these two were. The boy in front of him seemed to be only about five or six years old, while the little girl clinging to the turtle's back was probably just weaned.

"Youth, I can teach you martial arts, but you must first pass my test."

Ignoring the little girl for now, Master Roshi said.

"Please, go ahead."

Understanding the rules, Yuujin replied seriously.

"The first test is simple: for tonight's dinner, I'd like some fish. Go catch a shark for me."

Master Roshi set a straightforward test, intending to see what the boy was capable of.

Though the test was simple, it was nearly impossible for an ordinary person, let alone a five or six-year-old child.

However, the boy had made it all the way here with a little girl in tow, so he probably wasn't an ordinary person.

As expected, Yuujin nodded without hesitation.

"Alright!"

He told Goku to stay on the island and not be naughty, then jumped directly into the sea.

"Master Roshi, do you think the boy will be eaten by a shark?"

The turtle asked worriedly, and Master Roshi replied,

"Probably not."

As a master and the strongest human on Earth, Master Roshi's sharp eyes saw that the boy was no ordinary child. The test was just a way to confirm it.

Indeed, after only about half an hour, Yuujin returned from the sea, dragging a large shark onto the beach.

"Master, I'm back."

"Well done, you've passed the first test."

Master Roshi nodded in satisfaction at Yuujin's performance.

"But now comes the real test. If you pass it, I'll teach you martial arts."

To be continued...
