After listening to Launch's explanation, Yuujin roughly understood the situation.
A few days after Yuujin and his group had returned, Launch continued leading the Earth Expeditionary Force to expand Yuujin's empire across the universe. Along the way, they stumbled upon a primitive planet and decided to pause for rest and resupply.
However, shortly after landing on the planet, they were attacked by Celipa. The fierce woman seemed intent on stealing their spaceship to escape the planet, injuring many of their soldiers. Ultimately, it was only through the intervention of a few Red Ribbon Warriors that she was subdued.
If it had been an ordinary attacker, Launch would have ordered her execution without hesitation. But upon discovering that Celipa was of the same Saiyan race as Yuujin and Goku, she decided to spare her temporarily and informed Yuujin so he could deal with her personally.
"So that's how it is..."
Sitting in the captain's chair, Yuujin nodded in understanding.
He realized that many years had passed since their last encounter. If not for Launch's sudden message, he might have completely forgotten about Celipa.
Back when Yuujin and Goku fled Planet Vegeta, Yuujin used a drug created by the Miluba people to sedate Celipa and placed her in an escape pod.
It seemed her luck hadn't run out—she had managed to escape safely. Based on the hibernation settings he had configured for the escape pod, she must have only recently awakened.
Just then, with a soft hiss, the door to the command room opened, and Mai entered, escorting Celipa along with two Red Ribbon Warriors.
Having been in hibernation for years, Celipa's appearance was unchanged from two decades ago. Her biological age remained youthful. However, she looked extremely disheveled, her battle armor tattered. Despite being restrained by the two warriors, she behaved like a feral beast, her icy gaze scanning for an opportunity to escape.
"Master, we've brought the Saiyan here," Mai reported with a bow.
Yuujin nodded and gestured for the Red Silk Girls to release Celipa. He then said, "Well, Celipa, it's been a long time."
Though Celipa had not treated him kindly in the past, and he had already repaid her kindness, seeing her again after so many years still stirred a faint nostalgia in Yuujin.
At first, Celipa did not recognize him. She furrowed her brow, staring at Yuujin for a long time until a trace of familiarity emerged on his face. Her expression turned to disbelief.
"It's you, Sirus!!!"
"I'm touched you still remember me, my dear foster mother," Yuujin said cheerfully, smiling at her shocked reaction.
"You little brat! How dare you drug me and still have the audacity to show up before me! Unforgivable!!!"
With a surge of rage, Celipa charged at Yuujin, her anger erupting. It was this despicable kid who had drugged her, causing her to sleep for over two decades and live a wild, primitive life on this deserted planet for more than a year.
However, before she could get close, Mai flashed in front of her and delivered a swift kick to her stomach.
"Ugh!!!"
Celipa's eyes bulged as she coughed up bile from the pain. Her body shot backward, only to be caught by the two Red silk Girls, who intercepted her not out of concern but to protect the spaceship from damage.
"Celipa, it seems your temper hasn't changed at all over the years," Yuujin remarked with a grin. "But then again, you've been in stasis. It would be strange if you had changed."
Yuujin stood up and walked over to her, his presence calm yet commanding. Celipa glared at him fiercely.
"You little brat!!!"
Yuujin, unfazed, chuckled. Her reaction made him even more delighted.
"Ah, now this feels like the Celipa I know," he said with a smirk. "But you're wrong, Celipa. I'm not the little brat I used to be. Can't you see I've grown into a man? As my foster mother, you must be proud of how healthy I've become. Aren't you?"
His teasing tone pushed Celipa to the brink of madness.
"Proud? My foot! I wish I could kill you right now!" she roared.
Celipa struggled violently, but the two warriors holding her were far stronger. No amount of thrashing could free her.
Yuujin sighed, his expression turning sarcastic. "You really think I drugged you for fun? Just some childish prank?"
Celipa froze, glaring at him in disbelief.
"Why then? Why did you do it?" she demanded.
In truth, this question had haunted Celipa for years. If Sirus had truly wanted to harm her, he could have done anything while she was unconscious. Instead, he had placed her in an escape pod and sent her to this planet. It didn't make sense.
"I told you back then, didn't I? Your teammates would die on Planet Meat, and Planet Vegeta would be destroyed by Frieza."
Yuujin's words stunned her.
"Your teammates, Toma and Dodoria, were killed on Planet Mit by Frieza's subordinates. And not long after we escaped, Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta."
"Our warrior race is almost extinct. Including you and me, there are only a handful of Saiyans left in the universe."
Hearing this, Celipa was visibly shaken, unable to process the news.
"But don't worry. A year ago, when Frieza attacked Earth, we eliminated him. I may not like your kind, but as a Saiyan, I took revenge on our behalf."
Yuujin lifted her chin, looking into her eyes.
Celipa stared back, then sneered coldly.
"Sirus, do you think I'd believe such nonsense? Toma might still be alive, and Planet Vegeta may still exist. As for defeating Frieza? You, a Saiyan without a tail? Ridiculous!"
