High above West City, Celipa and Android 19 were locked in an intense battle.
Both fighters were moving at high speeds, flickering through the air. To ordinary people, their movements were entirely invisible; only the continuous explosions of energy could be heard.
"Die!!!"
In a flash, Celipa appeared mid-air, forming a ki blast in her hand and hurling it toward 19.
Android 19 smirked coldly and raised a palm, absorbing the incoming energy blast effortlessly.
Though Celipa had casually thrown the ki blast, its energy far exceeded the dozens fired by the Red Silk Girls earlier. 19 feigned a satisfied burp.
"Delicious. Thank you for the meal."
Bowing slightly, Android 19 gave a mockingly sincere expression of gratitude toward Celipa.
"Hahahaha!!!!"
"Celipa, haven't I already told you that these androids can absorb energy? Stop attacking them with ki blasts!"
Dr. Gero burst into laughter, while Yuujin sighed and rubbed his forehead.
Celipa's face darkened. She had only wanted to test it out but hadn't expected these creatures to genuinely absorb others' energy!
It was well-known that battles in Dragon Ball typically fell into two categories: hand-to-hand combat and ki-based combat.
Hand-to-hand combat involved physical blows exchanged at close range. On the other hand, ki-based combat utilized powerful energy blasts and waves to attack from a distance.
Both styles had their strengths, and neither was inherently superior. A true warrior excelled in both and could switch seamlessly between them to gain the upper hand.
However, the androids were equipped with energy absorption devices. Using ki-based attacks on them would only strengthen them. This severely restricted Celipa's combat options.
"Damn monsters. I'll kill you for sure!"
Cursing under her breath, Celipa erupted in fiery energy and charged at 19 once more.
"Haaah! Haaah! Haaah!"
Punches flew relentlessly as Celipa pressed 19 backward, sparking another ferocious battle.
Watching from the sidelines, Dr. Gero felt a twinge of alarm. No one understood 19's strength better than he did. Yet this Saiyan woman was overpowering him. What were these Saiyans, anyway? Monsters?
But his shock turned to a sly smirk. After all, 19's body was crafted from the sturdiest metal. No matter how hard that woman hit, she couldn't harm him or make him feel pain.
Don't think suppressing 19 is anything impressive, Dr. Gero thought. Once your strength wanes, you'll be finished. Your energy will fuel 19, making him even stronger!
As expected, as time passed, Celipa's energy drained, and her attacks slowed. Seeing the opening, 19 quickly maneuvered behind her and locked her arms.
Dr. Gero's lips curled into a cruel smile.
"It's over!!!"
"Uh-oh! Celipa's in trouble!"
"Tch, useless trash!"
Watching from the sidelines, Goku remarked, while Vegeta spat out an insult.
Even as a Super Saiyan, she couldn't defeat a mere android? What was Celipa doing?
"Yuujin, should we step in?"
Worry clouded Chi-Chi's face as she turned to Yuujin.
These androids could absorb energy. With Celipa now immobilized, she would soon be drained of her strength, unable to resist. Defeat seemed inevitable.
"Let's wait and see," Yuujin replied, shrugging.
"She's my subordinate, after all. A Super Saiyan. Celipa won't lose so easily."
Yuujin wasn't particularly concerned. Celipa was still unfamiliar with her Super Saiyan powers and tended to be overconfident in battle. This could serve as a valuable lesson. If things got too dangerous, they could intervene.
Still, deep down, Yuujin harbored a small hope that Celipa might pull off a miracle.
Back on the battlefield—
"You disgusting thing! Let go of me! Let go!"
Unable to move her arms, Celipa grew desperate, furiously headbutting 19 to break free. But her efforts only left her dizzy and disoriented.
"Heh heh heh. I won't let go, even if it kills me."
"And your energy? I'll gladly take it all!"
Grinning wickedly, 19 activated the energy absorption device in his palms, draining Celipa's power.
Feeling her energy rapidly depleting, Celipa panicked and struggled violently, but it was useless.
Was she going to lose like this?
No way!
She was Celipa—a Super Saiyan! How could she lose to such a disgusting creature?
"You want my energy? Fine, I'll give you all you can handle!"
"Ha!!!"
Grimly determined, Celipa unleashed a massive burst of energy, pouring it into 19 without restraint.
"W-What?!"
Even drinking water too quickly can choke you, let alone absorbing the immense energy of a Super Saiyan. As the overwhelming power surged into his circuits, 19's face twisted in shock.
"Stop! Stop it now!"
Panicked, 19 yelled, but Celipa only grinned maniacally.
It was working!
"Take it all, you bastard. Then go to hell!"
Celipa pushed her energy output to the limit. 19, feeling his circuits and devices overloading, had no choice but to release her.
The moment she was free, Celipa drove her elbow into 19's abdomen, sending him flying. A pained scream escaped 19's lips as his back arched grotesquely.
"It's not over yet!"
"Die, you monster!"
Leaping onto 19's shoulders, Celipa grabbed his head, her golden aura flaring once more.
"HAAAH!!!"
With a mighty roar, she tore 19's head clean off his body.
