"Trunksia, Goteno, quickly greet your brother Trunks!"
"Hello, I am Trunks."
To his surprise, after just one time jump, his mother and Yuujin-san already had children. Trunks was filled with astonishment and awe. Extending a hand, he tried to greet the two little ones.
Their big, bright eyes blinked curiously. Goteno and Trunksia seemed shy, hesitating until their mothers gently encouraged them to fly closer to Trunks.
At first, everyone thought Goteno and Trunksia would politely greet Trunks. However, in the next moment, the two mischievous little ones each grabbed one of Trunks' cheeks and pulled hard.
"Ow, ow, ow!!!"
"Hehehe..."
In pain, Trunks yelped loudly, while Goteno and Trunksia quickly darted out of the hall, escaping like little troublemakers.
"Goteno, Trunksia, come back here!"
Yuujin and the women were left speechless at the two mischievous kids.
Bulma and Chi-Chi wanted to catch Goteno and Trunksia, but the two had already vanished without a trace. In the end, they gave up and sent a few maids to watch over the children.
"Trunks, are you okay? Does it still hurt?"
"Don't be mad; Goteno and Trunksia are just too playful."
Seeing the red marks left on Trunks' cheeks, Bulma and Chi-Chi were filled with apologies.
"I-I'm fine, really."
Trunks gave a sheepish smile, thinking to himself, Those two are definitely a handful!
Still, they were only one or two years old yet could already fly around effortlessly using Bukujutsu (Sky-Dancing Art). Their extraordinary talent was no surprise, considering they were Yuujin-san's and his mothers' children.
"Alright, let's not worry about Goteno and Trunksia. They'll come back when they're done playing. Let's eat first."
Location: Laboratory
"This is my specially designed super time machine. It can carry multiple passengers for time travel."
"How about it? Impressive, right?!"
In the temple's laboratory, Bulma introduced her latest creation with a proud smile, arms crossed confidently.
Although similar in design to Trunks' original time machine, this one was four to five times larger, capable of accommodating several people.
Not only that, Bulma had improved on its flaws, ensuring precise time travel without errors like Trunks had previously experienced.
"Amazing! Truly amazing!"
Trunks couldn't help but marvel, deeply impressed by this version of his mother's ingenuity.
"Since this time machine can carry multiple passengers, Trunks, we'll join you for a trip to your world," Yuujin said, his eyes glinting with resolve.
"You're coming to my world, Yuujin-san?"
Trunks was surprised.
"What? You don't want us there?"
"No, not at all! I'd be thrilled to have you in my world. My mother will be overjoyed to see you!"
Excited, Trunks immediately agreed. With Yuujin and the others' strength, he'd have more confidence in fighting the androids and saving his world.
"Then it's settled."
"Bulma, are you coming along too?" Yuujin asked with a smile.
"Of course I'm going! I'm curious about the other version of me!" Bulma replied eagerly.
"We can't go empty-handed," Yuujin added thoughtfully. "The other world has been devastated by androids. The survivors must be struggling. Let's bring supplies as a token of goodwill."
"Good idea! I'll contact Tights immediately to arrange it," Bulma agreed, nodding.
Feeling deeply touched, Trunks said earnestly, "Yuujin-san, thank you. Truly, thank you."
"Come on, you call Bulma 'Mother.' No need to be so formal with us," Yuujin chuckled, patting Trunks on the shoulder.
In truth, Yuujin had long intended to visit the future timeline for personal reasons. With Bulma's enhanced time machine, this was the perfect opportunity.
Efficient as ever, Tights quickly sent a batch of relief supplies packed into Hoi-Poi capsules. After brief preparations, Yuujin's group set off with Trunks for the future.
"Chi-Chi, Tights, we're counting on you to look after things here. We'll be back soon," Yuujin said.
For this trip, Yuujin only brought Goku, Vegeta, Android 18, and Bulma. Tights stayed behind to handle temple and Earth affairs, while Chi-Chi and Celipa remained as high-level defenders.
"Take care and return quickly. We'll handle everything here," Chi-Chi and Tights assured them, watching Yuujin's group board the time machine.
"Everyone, buckle up. We're starting the jump," Bulma announced.
"Let's go already!"
"Calm down, Goku!"
"All set. Jump starting now!"
Under Bulma's control, the time machine ascended and vanished in a flash.
As their vision dimmed, Yuujin's group felt a momentary blackout. When they came to, they had arrived in another world.
The sky was dark, the city in ruins. The desolate, bleak atmosphere was overwhelming, hinting at the horrific disaster that had taken place here.
"So tragic…" Bulma murmured, covering her mouth in shock.
Though much had changed, Yuujin and Bulma instantly recognized this as the West City of the other timeline, destroyed by the androids.
Clack!
The time machine landed. Bulma opened the hatch, and Trunks leapt out, running toward his home.
"Mother! Mother, I'm back!"
He banged on the door, shouting.
"Trunks? Is that you?"
