Having finally gotten rid of those pesky reporters, Bulma and Tightstook the private elevator to the top floor of the company's headquarters and entered the elegantly decorated office.
"Ah, those guys, they're so annoying, day in and day out!"
Collapsing onto the sofa, Bulma grabbed her hair, her face showing frustration and irritation.
"Bulma, calm down."
"It's just something you have to get used to," Tights said with a smile, setting down the folder in her hand.
Even though they were the daughters of Dr. Brief, the world's richest man, neither Bulma nor Tights had a cold or distant personality. However, whether it was reporters or so-called company presidents, they always took advantage if you were polite. Over the past year, the sisters had learned to protect themselves with a façade of coldness.
Of course, when it was just the two of them, Bulma and Tights acted like their usual selves.
"Those annoying flies should just die. If you let me take care of it, they could disappear from Earth by tomorrow!"
No matter how they thought about it, that couldn't be allowed to happen!
Just as the women in the office were about to say something else, a knock came from the door:
"Lady Bulma, Lady Tights, it's Mai."
Aside from Bulma and Tights, the only person in the entire company allowed into this office on the top floor was Mai. Usually, she managed the company's affairs below and only came up to report if something important happened.
"Come in, Mai."
"Yes, Lady Tights."
Tights opened the door for Mai, who walked in wearing her uniform.
Mai had originally been a subordinate of Pilaf. After being abandoned by her companions while searching for the Dragon Balls, she was taken in by Yuujin. Before heading to King Kai's Planet for training, Yuujin had sent her to assist Bulma and the others.
Due to time constraints, there hadn't been much opportunity for proper guidance, and her loyalty was still under scrutiny. Yuujin had asked Bulma and the others to keep an eye on her, but based on her performance over the past year, there hadn't been any issues. She was competent and had indeed helped a lot, so Bulma and Tights trusted her to some extent.
"Mai, is there something going on?"
Knowing Mai only came up when there was an important matter to report, Bulma frowned.
"Lady Bulma, Lady Tights, the two research bases we established in Carter City have been breached again. Several personnel have been injured or killed, and all the experimental data has been stolen and lost."
Mai spoke calmly, but the atmosphere in the room immediately grew cold.
Tights rubbed her forehead, while Bulma's expression darkened as she slammed her fist on the desk.
"Those bastards!!!"

Explosive sounds echoed as Yuujin and Goku battled intensely in the sky above King Kai's Planet.
The two moved at incredible speeds, so fast that their movements were nearly invisible, like two fiery red bolts of lightning clashing repeatedly in mid-air. Each collision sent thunderous shockwaves through the sky.
To note, the auras surrounding Yuujin and Goku at the moment weren't ordinary colorless energy; they had taken on a crimson hue.
It was the Kaio-ken!
Both using Kaio-ken, even from a distance, the intense pressure radiating from the two was palpable to everyone below, including Chi-Chi and the others on King Kai's Planet. It was hard to imagine the kind of overwhelming power they were unleashing.
In a short time, Yuujin and Goku had already exchanged thousands of blows, the thrill of the sheer power filling them with excitement. They both had only one thought in mind—
Fight, fight, fight!!!
"Haah! Haah! Haah!!!"
After another clash, Yuujin and Goku pulled apart, both spinning their hands like wheels, releasing tens of thousands of energy blasts at each other.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Waves of energy surged, and violent winds swept across the sky above King Kai's Planet, turning it into a chaotic scene of devastation that was terrifying to behold.
Without a doubt, if anyone were caught in the midst of that energy storm, they would be torn to shreds instantly!
The fierce explosions lasted for a long time before gradually subsiding. Two fiery red streaks of light descended, revealing the figures of Yuujin and Goku.
"Huff... huff..."
Both panted heavily; using Kaio-ken in such high-intensity combat had taken a significant toll on them.
"Amazing!"
"Yuujin, Goku, you're both incredible!"
Chi-Chi came running toward them, her cheeks flushed with excitement.
After a year of training, Chi-Chi had also learned Kaio-ken, though hers was far less powerful than Yuujin's or Goku's.
"As expected of my master and Goku," Princess Snake said, following closely behind, her eyes full of admiration as she stared at Yuujin.
Watching Yuujin and Goku's growth over the past year, Princess Snake felt nothing but awe.
As expected of the man who could become her master, he was truly strong!
Oh no, she was starting to get excited again…
"The power of Kaio-ken is far from being fully realized. We still have a long way to go."
Wiping the sweat off his forehead, Yuujin stood up and gently patted Chi-Chi on the head with a smile.
After a year of training, Yuujin could now perform the Fivefold Kaio-ken without harming himself, Goku could use the Fourfold Kaio-ken, and even the less powerful Chi-Chi could perform the Double Kaio-ken.
In theory, the Kaio-ken had no limit; as long as the body was strong enough to endure it, even a hundredfold or thousandfold Kaio-ken was possible!
