"Someone tried to kidnap you?"
Hearing Bulma's words, Yuujin frowned.
"N-No, Yuujin, you must have misheard."
"Haha… hahaha…"
Bulma's eyes wandered as she chuckled, trying to brush it off.
Yuujin usually wouldn't press matters, but anything involving the girls' safety was different. Since Bulma wouldn't say more, Yuujin turned his gaze to Tights.
"Tights, what's going on?"
Seeing Yuujin's serious expression, Tights realized there was no way to hide it. She hesitated but finally explained.
"Yuujin, please don't get upset. Here's what happened..."
Tights recounted everything to Yuujin, who quickly grasped the situation.
It all started when Bulma and the others helped Yuujin found the Dragon Ball Company. Despite being established only about a year ago, Dragon Ball Company had grown at a rocket-like pace, joining the ranks of the world's top corporations. Soon, it might even surpass Dr. Brief's Capsule Corporation.
As the saying goes, "the tallest tree catches the wind" — a truth in any world. Dragon Ball Company's groundbreaking products had earned massive profits, but also the envy of many corporations and even the government, which showed interest in buying shares to access Dragon Ball Company's advanced technology.
This, though, was par for the course; the business world was like a battlefield. In the early days, Dragon Ball Company faced countless obstacles, including concerted efforts by other corporations to suppress it. However, with the clever strategies of Bulma and her team and Dr. Brief's support, they overcame every challenge, outshining their competitors.
Possessing many otherworldly technologies, Dragon Ball Company was practically unbeatable. Attempts to suppress them were futile, and even government pressure could be managed.
Recently, however, the company attracted the attention of a notorious terrorist organization — the Red Ribbon Army.
The Red Ribbon Army was a globally feared organization, known for its vast resources, high-tech equipment, and ruthless trained soldiers. They often committed terroristic acts that left even regular armies wary.
And now, they had set their sights on Dragon Ball Company.
Without a doubt, they wanted the company's alien technology. Unlike business rivals, they wouldn't bother with negotiations or deals; they would simply take what they wanted by force.
When founding the company, Bulma anticipated such risks, so she distributed the development of alien technology across multiple research bases around the world. Each base focused on a specific project.
Nevertheless, the Red Ribbon Army, with its powerful intelligence network, had uncovered many of these bases. In remote areas, they sent troops to seize assets directly; in cities, they resorted to bribery and theft, using any means necessary.
Recently, when Bulma and Tights visited another city for business negotiations, the Red Ribbon Army sent a team to kidnap them, hoping to force the company to hand over its technology. Thankfully, Mai and **** were with them and dealt with the soldiers, rescuing Bulma and Tights.
"The Red Ribbon Army, huh…"
After hearing Tights's story, Yuujin's expression turned icy.
In the original Dragon Ball, this organization had also sought the Dragon Balls, leading them into conflict with Goku, who ultimately destroyed them.
Yuujin had already gathered and sealed away the Dragon Balls in the temple, but it seemed fate would bring him into conflict with the Red Ribbon Army anyway.
Under normal circumstances, he wouldn't concern himself with some terrorist organization, but when they tried to steal from him and kidnap his loved ones, he had no reason not to eliminate them.
"Bulma, why didn't you tell me this before?"
Looking at Bulma, Yuujin asked.
Feeling intimidated by Yuujin's serious demeanor, Bulma replied, a little hurt.
"Yuujin, why are you getting mad at us? We just didn't want you to worry."
Yuujin paused at her words, and his anger softened, a hint of guilt showing in his expression.
"Sorry, Bulma, Tights. I was upset, but it wasn't aimed at you."
He pulled Bulma and Tights into his embrace, his face full of regret.
"It's okay, Yuujin; we understand," Tights replied gently, and Bulma said nothing more.
The sisters knew that Yuujin's reaction came from his concern for them, and instead of being angry, they felt a bit happy.
"Yuujin, what are you going to do about the Red Ribbon Army? Their attacks have cost the company greatly," Tights asked, looking up at him.
Most people in their situation would be forced to endure the Red Ribbon Army's harassment, as they simply lacked the power to fight back. Bulma and Tights had previously done the same.
But now Yuujin was back, and even the Red Ribbon Army was no match for him. They no longer had to tolerate the organization's malice.
"What to do? Destroy them, of course!"
"They tried to steal from me and kidnap my women. Hmph!"
A cold gleam flashed in Yuujin's eyes as he sentenced the Red Ribbon Army to annihilation.
But hearing Yuujin's bold words — "my things, my women" — made Bulma and Tights blush.
"Tights, do you know where the Red Ribbon Army's headquarters is?" Yuujin asked.
"Their headquarters is well-hidden; even the government couldn't find it. We don't know its location yet," Tights replied, and Yuujin frowned.
If he knew where the Red Ribbon Army was, he would eliminate them immediately. But without that information, he'd have to wait.
After some thought, Yuujin came to a decision.
"Whatever it takes, find out the location of their headquarters as soon as possible."
"Understood."
