This is really not mechanical ascension Chapter 329

Ya Ro glanced at Li Ming and followed him.

"You... are you okay..."

"Actually, he’s a pretty nice guy..." Ya Ro carefully said while following Kay, feeling guilty himself.

He was indeed speechless; be it Chen Jinglong, Ren Cangsong, or Old Wu, all of them had quite a high opinion of Li Ming.

Moreover, his reputation on Blue Star was also very positive, although he knew the news wasn’t altogether trustworthy. Still, this contrast was too stark.

Before, he simply thought Li Ming was sly, but now he was more than sly; he was a devil playing with people’s hearts.

Kay had spent the previous twenty years as a descendant of the nobility, having received an elite education. He was not accustomed to being toyed with .

"No..." Kay stopped abruptly, and Ya Ro stopped as well.

"He did exactly what he should, and I was thinking too naively. I should become someone like him, I want to become like him, only then can I take my revenge!" Kay’s voice was high-pitched and fervent.

Ya Ro even heard a hint of fanaticism and couldn’t help but step back.

He had indeed gone mad.

But upon further thought, if he were in Ya Ro’s shoes, with his family gone and no one to turn to, facing an uncertain future.

Surrounded by people who wanted to kill him or use him.

Suddenly encountering Li Ming, a Class B lifeform daring to lure a Class A lifeform, dancing on the blade’s edge, mistaking genuine emotion for truth, only to be devastated again, it was indeed possible to see him as a pillar of strength.

If he knew Li Ming was even younger than him, he would probably go even more insane.

Ya Ro muttered to himself.

Meanwhile, at the Star Hunter headquarters, Sandro’s expression was gloomy. The four individuals from today’s operation stood below, shaking uncontrollably, not daring to raise their heads.

"Boss..." the cyclopean fishman began cautiously.

"Shut up!" Sandro scolded angrily, "A bunch of idiots, you’ve made me lose face in the Land of Stars; you didn’t even catch a corner of their garment before you were discovered, and I had to come to your rescue!"

"Have you grown too comfortable with easy lives, not knowing the taste of death?"

The raiders of various forms below couldn’t help but shiver, and the cyclopean fishman felt the gazes of the three people behind him on his back.

He couldn’t help but curse internally, but since he was the one who had come up with the idea, he had to brace himself and speak:

"Boss, we were actually very well concealed, bypassed the Collector’s patrol ship, and even wore armor that isolates scent, but somehow, that guy found us out of nowhere."

Sandro’s brow furrowed; he too felt something odd about the situation.

"I speculate that the guy’s gene seed might have some kind of premonition ability," said the one-eyed fishman. He added, "Actually, this mission wasn’t entirely fruitless."

"Oh?" Sandro’s eyes flickered, "Froza, what else do you have to say?"

The one-eyed fishman Froza quickly said, "Boss, that guy’s mechanical skills are extremely high. Even a custom Class B weapon, he made it fast and well."

"Sislang’s spear was custom-made there."

Sandro’s gaze shifted, landing on the wolf-headed man behind Froza, who was carrying a blood-red mechanical spear.

Sislang glared fiercely at Froza, hastily explained, "Boss, I wanted to test the waters, that’s why I went to him for customization."

Sandro snorted coldly, reached out his thick arm; Sislang hesitated but ultimately took the spear from his back, stepped forward, and handed it over to Sandro.

Sandro examined it closely, his fingers flicking lightly, and with a clang, the blood-red spear quivered incessantly, accompanied by a haze of blood-red light spreading out.

"It is indeed a fine item," Sandro conceded, tossing it casually with a loud whoosh, the blood-red spear cut through the air.

Sislang hadn’t reacted yet when he felt a chill on his cheek, as the spear embedded itself behind him, with blood spurting from his cheek.

Sislang trembled, swallowing hard, yet felt a sense of relief in his heart.

Froza tensed and continued, "With his level of skill and efficiency, as well as the Collector’s interest in him, I believe he might be a great Mechanic."

"A great Mechanic..." Sandro mused, "An exiled great Mechanic, interesting."

"Haven’t you said the Torch Organization is looking for a great Mechanic? With their reputation, I fear no one dares to collaborate with them. Perhaps this person..." Froza didn’t finish his sentence.

But Sandro chuckled coldly, "The Collector let the four of you go; Atom’s case is already closed."

Froza lowered his head, not daring to speak.

Sandro coldly instructed, "All of you, get out. Five billion each—if you can’t rob it, die out there."

"Boss..." Froza got cold feet, "The United Fleet is almost ready, if we go out now..."

Sandro’s gaze was deep, with a surge of green flames, the terrifying temperature making the air boil.

"Yes!" Froza couldn’t finish his words before promptly assuring him.

After the others left, Sandro took out his smart terminal, found a contact, and sent a communication request, which went unanswered.

He frowned slightly, calling again and again, until the other party finally picked up.

"He wrote out everything about the Judgement Holy Blade’s gene sequence, Evolution Theory, and Secret Record of Liberation," Three days later, Li Ming, who was disassembling wreckage, listened to Ya Ro’s report and visibly paused. He set down the high-heat chainsaw, turned around, and asked, "He wrote it all out?"

He took several USB drives from Ya Ro, two of which contained Evolution Theory and Secret Record of Liberation. They were recognized by the Control Bar, which showed Ya Ro hadn’t faked anything.

"He must have gone crazy," Li Ming was genuinely surprised, "Did he make any demands?"
