This is really not mechanical ascension Chapter 453

In the core laboratory, Li Ming stretched lazily, his expression slightly odd.

After spending the morning here, he felt as if he was somewhat redundant.

"The difficulty in manufacturing the Sublimator lies in the materials and technology, not manpower," Li Ming shook his head; Des had provided some technical information yesterday, enough to take a big step forward.

The main role of Mechanics like them was to tackle these hard points.

Unless they encounter another bottleneck, their work is really not much different from that of ordinary laboratory staff.

Glancing at the visualization progress, over the past several months, the manufacturing progress had slowly reached 15%.

Just this morning, it had advanced by 3%; such is the importance of breaking through technical difficulties.

"Forget it, I’m a bit tired. I’m going back," Li Ming felt staying here was a waste of time; he’d rather go back and work on Genetic Seeds.

"Call me when there’s trouble."

"This..." Benny looked at Jesaya, who didn’t mind and even waved, telling Azure Dragon to rest well, leaving him speechless.

Jesaya then shook his head: "It’s all repetitive manufacturing work now, Your Excellency Benny, if you’re bored, you can leave as well."

"No, going back is even more boring," Benny shook his head and continued immersing himself in the work.

Facing the strange looks of the soldiers at the door, Li Ming went straight back to his room and began to actively develop Genetic Seeds. Various theories of Evolution work together, slowly advancing the development progress.

However, this quiet didn’t last long before it was broken.

Two virtual screens floated in front of him, showing the situations in the metal corridors to the left and right outside his room, the signals coming from the eyes of Taipo and Thunder.

The left corridor’s view was elevated, clearly Taipo’s perspective, currently transmitting loud noises and showing two figures pushing each other.

Some soldiers from the Torch Organization lingered on both sides, seemingly trying to intervene, but anyone who slightly touched those figures would uncontrollably fly backwards, lying on the ground and moaning.

"Sandro and Brother?" Li Ming slightly frowned, the window gradually zoomed in, and their voices became clearer.

"Bro, what do you mean by something wrong with the materials? These were good materials we got from Bryrim, and you confirmed it yourself at that time."

Sandro was walking backward in front, speaking calmly, "Isn’t this just a misunderstanding?"

"Huh?" Li Ming’s eyes flickered. Materials from Bryrim?

He noticed that Brother was carrying a metal box in each hand, the very boxes used initially for distributing materials, belonging to Sandro and Ulrich.

Brother looked displeased, "I trusted you too much before, agreed to the trade without much verification. We’re both Level A Life Forms, what you see is what you get, never thought you’d be so shameless."

"This..." Sandro was baffled and then slightly irritated, "What exactly is wrong with the items? You haven’t specified even now."

"These materials are all fakes, all forged failures!" Brother growled deeply.

"What?" Sandro was stunned, firmly said, "That’s impossible!"

Brother seemed extremely annoyed, "What’s impossible? Des checked carefully, they’re all defective, and the forging techniques are nearly identical. I thought I was getting a bargain for four billion and two hundred million, but it turned out to be a terrible deal!"

In the room, Li Ming’s expression grew increasingly peculiar. Those metal materials had actually been sold by Sandro?

And to Brother, for four billion and twenty million—a pretty decent price, interesting...

Li Ming was quite surprised and had basically figured out the situation.

He had studied the materials that he had extracted most of the metal energy from, which still maintained their surface traits.

Their internal structures were severely damaged, and all material traits had decayed significantly; indeed, they resembled defective goods, with no inexplicable internal phenomena.

So, he didn’t care about those metal materials being circulated.

"But, why bring their trade dispute here?" Li Ming slightly frowned.

"Was Des not seeing things clearly? Should we have a few other Mechanics look at it?" Sandro continued to persuade.

"Whom? Azure Dragon?" Brother scoffed, "I trusted your words initially, saying these metal materials were verified by Azure Dragon."

Sandro was slightly stunned, feeling something odd; he indeed had said that at the time.

But to say that Brother trusted him just because of that was obviously impossible.

"So, what do you want to do?" Sandro was running out of patience.

"Impossible." Sandro’s expression shifted, then he firmly refused; everything else could be negotiable, but returning the money was out of the question.

"Then explain yourself, where is Azure Dragon? Let him come out and explain!" Brother clamored, "This kind of forgery isn’t something you idiot can master."

"Looking for me?" Li Ming’s eyes suddenly became deep. The transaction between Sandro and Brother had nothing to do with him.

Even if Sandro had mentioned it while selling, anyone would know it was just leveraging.

Brother forcing a connection with him over this was quite unreasonable.

Unless, he was specifically targeting him.

"Interesting, just when I was worrying about not having an idiot to help," Li Ming muttered.

Why insist on finding Azure Dragon?

In the corridor, Sandro was puzzled but immediately retorted: "Brother, are you saying my goods were fake when I sold them to you?"

"I’m even saying that was Des’s trick!"
