Li Ming took it into his hands and examined them carefully, discovering that all three were Dimension Crystals, and not Divine Attribute Crystals.
It seems only an S-class Dimension Life Form would drop a Divine Attribute Crystal. This time, there’s an opportunity to verify the hypothesis and see if ten portions of Divine Energy can synthesize into a more advanced energy to liberate S-class Controlled Objects.
Seeing the crystals in Li Ming’s hands, Lauren and the other two noticeably breathed more heavily.
Li Ming put away two of them, holding one in his hand. He casually flicked it, drawing a beautiful crimson arc before it landed on the table. He smiled and said:
"Over the next period, we might need to requisition your spaceship. Consider this as payment."
The Dimension Crystal from an A-class Life Form was extremely valuable, highly versatile, and carried significant research value.
Raff swallowed hard, Gary couldn’t help rubbing his hands together, but only Lauren’s expression slightly changed as she whispered:
"Sir, we are official research explorers from the Eternal Brilliance Federation’s Dimension Research Division. We still have exploration missions ahead. We can take you to the nearest Secret Castle."
"As long as you spend a little money, they’ll definitely be willing to send you to the Central World..."
Li Ming continued smiling, "Our destination is not the Central World, so we’ll have to trouble you instead."
Although he was smiling, everyone could hear an undeniable sense of authority in his tone.
If they refused again, who knew what might happen next.
"N-no problem..." Gary hurriedly said, "Feel free to use it, feel free to use it..."
As he said this, he carefully pocketed the Dimension Crystal on the table, drawing a glare from Lauren.
Li Ming walked up to the screen. The system had already been taken over by Vermilion Bird. He pulled up the navigation logs and began attempting to locate the dimensional coordinates of their target.
"Hmm... doesn’t seem that far..." Li Ming looked at it. They had been thrown out of the Space Channel midway and were already en route to their target.
He continued to flip through the logs, recording all of Lauren and her team’s navigational coordinates into the Dimension Boundary Mark, expanding the coordinate library. He finally remarked meaningfully, "Research explorers?"
Lauren’s heart tightened slightly. They were, of course, not official personnel of the Eternal Brilliance Federation. Or rather, she no longer was.
She had just said that earlier to enhance her chances of survival. Now that it was exposed, her breathing turned rapid.
But the other party didn’t seem to press further.
She saw Li Ming setting coordinates on the screen — it was a blank area, beyond the dimensional coordinates known to them.
Unable to contain herself, she reminded him, "Sir, exploring unknown Dimension Worlds so recklessly is extremely dangerous. This is just a basic shuttle ship, and we only have two Dimension Probes left."
Dimension Probes could penetrate dimensional barriers, collect data in a small range, and return, greatly reducing the risks of exploring unknown worlds.
"No problem." Li Ming dismissed her concerns lightly and activated the [Dimension Boundary Mark] via the Controlled Object’s [Exploration] ability.
In an instant, his eyes unfocused, his vision detached, as though he was glimpsing bizarre, kaleidoscopic worlds.
"...A Dimension World formed entirely of water elements, with A-class Life Forms as its primary inhabitants. A few extremely weak explorers can be seen moving about..."
"The four nearby worlds are all Elemental Realms, and almost all of them are A-class Dimension Worlds...." Li Ming processed this new information and compared it with summaries of Dimension Worlds, arriving at a tentative judgment.
He then entered the direction and informed Vermilion Bird which way to traverse. The shuttle’s engine roared to life, glowing with a milky-white brilliance.
After waiting for more than ten minutes without transitioning, Robbin grew impatient. "Why is it taking so long?"
"This shuttle’s engine is quite old and outdated, so it requires some time..." Gary explained hastily.
"Fine..." Robbin shook his head, lamenting that the shuttle Austin provided earlier was far more advanced, requiring only a few minutes. Unfortunately, it was now reduced to scrap.
Recalling what they had encountered earlier, he couldn’t help but shiver, unable to resist asking Li Ming, "What exactly was that golden energy?"
"During the transition, why didn’t Lord Austin warn us at all?"
Still haunted by fear, Robbin found no explanation from Li Ming, who could only shake his head.
The danger posed by that Dimension World and its primary inhabitants undoubtedly exceeded all imagination. The moment he stepped into it, they had already detected him and even manipulated the golden energy to invade the Space Channel.
But for some unknown reason, Talos’ Heart seemed naturally immune to such energy.
Shaking his head, Li Ming instead turned the question to Robbin, "Do you truly know nothing? Maybe you’ve encountered it somewhere before but forgotten. Think carefully..."
Robbin was blank for a moment. Just as he was about to respond, the butler’s voice suddenly echoed in his mind, "Tell him it’s likely Chrono."
Robbin froze slightly. The words he intended to say swallowed back down, he scratched his head awkwardly and muttered, "I think I remember now. I did come across some related clues... It’s Chrono."
"Chrono?" Li Ming’s eyes narrowed slightly. So, this Skull truly knew something.
Robbin’s gaze turned dazed, spitting out one sentence after another: "Chrono is the primary Life Form of a Deep Dimension World. That Dimension World is composed entirely of pure liquid luminous gold energy, possessing high temperature, high pressure, high corrosion, and high destructive traits..."
"Its external appearance is that of a gigantic vertical eye?" Li Ming confirmed.
"Yes." Robbin nodded, internally muttering to himself that moments ago, he had claimed not to know anything.
"Liquid luminous gold energy? Giant vertical eye?" Lauren, who had been eavesdropping on the conversation between the two, showed a hint of astonishment. "Are you talking about the Eternal Eye?"
