This is really not mechanical ascension Chapter 661

Staring at the stunned crowd, their gazes met in confusion before erupting in chaotic uproar.

"What? The Dominion Holy Image is actually fake?"

"F***, I spent millions of Star Coins just to get in here..."

The noise below became incessant, as both acquaintances and strangers started talking to each other.

Jaint couldn’t help but nod; this plan was indeed effective. That scheming figure in the dark certainly wouldn’t dare put the fake directly in the Central World.

If they did that, it would be too easily exposed. Since the other side didn’t come forward, they could instead display it for them, and then shatter the illusion as proof.

Afterward, even if traces of the Dominion Holy Image appeared again, it would hardly cause a major sensation.

"Someone is actually trying to overturn the Empire? Utter wishful thinking." He sneered in his heart.

But just then, an indescribable, chilling sense of dread washed over him.

He abruptly raised his head, his pupils contracting sharply, only to see a streak of platinum light descending from the heavens. The surrounding space suddenly became immeasurably dense, leaving him completely immobilized.

Darkness consumed his vision as a monstrous foot stomped down forcefully. His facial bones shattered, his eyeballs burst, and his whole body plummeted like a meteor.

The ground trembled, yet the ripples were surprisingly mild, as though they were intentionally restrained.

Raising their eyes upward, the various life forms froze in place, then uniformly turned their gaze toward the meteor’s crash site.

Moments later, their varied mouths slowly widened in awe.

Before them, a platinum mechanical colossus expanded, its streamlined yet powerful frame becoming increasingly prominent. Mechanical components shimmered faintly under the radiant platinum glow, with its metal armor exuding a sleek texture. The luminescence ebbed and flowed across its surface, its trunk swinging up as thunderous "clack-clack" sounds reverberated.

Its head held high, its broad forehead inlaid with a massive diamond-shaped crystal. The dazzling light emitted resembled a collapse of mountains and seas, sweeping upward like a boundless tempest crashing forward in majestic intensity.

Simultaneously, vast waves of spiritual energy surged across the entire Central Space. "I am the Dominion Holy Image. From here, I shall select a master—the Inheritor of the Hammer Divine Craftsman."

"Your Excellency, which direction should we warp next?" Lauren asked reverently, knocking at the door.

"47 degrees west..." Li Ming reported from inside the room.

Upon hearing this, Lauren immediately headed to the cockpit to input the coordinates.

They were navigating through the white mist, and during this ten-plus-day journey, Lauren had grown entirely convinced. Following Li Ming’s guidance, they had hardly encountered any danger in the Dimension World.

Most of the regions they passed through were B-level Dimension Worlds, with only a sparse few being A-level territories. The entire voyage had been calm and uneventful.

It felt as though they weren’t exploring unknown sections of the Dimension World, but rather traveling along a secure corridor.

This uncharted route alone, if sold upon their return, would fetch a considerable sum.

Lauren had once suspected that Li Ming was already familiar with this pathway. However, if that were the case, he could have simply entered the route directly into the navigation system instead of halting at each new Dimension World to pause and provide guidance.

"God-like luck... or a way to discern the situation around the Dimension Worlds..." Lauren pondered inwardly. He leaned toward the former explanation, for if it were the latter, wouldn’t the Dimension World practically become his private garden?

Li Ming... Li Ming... She found the name unfamiliar and wasn’t even sure it was his real name.

Unfortunately, in the Dimension World, only select areas had connectivity to the Main Universe’s network. Alternatively, one could use highly advanced communication devices, but she had none that could run a search.

Robbin had already grown accustomed to it. Anyone who spent enough time with Li Ming would inevitably be awed by the sheer variety of unexpected methods he employed.

In the room, Li Ming rose and stood by the porthole. Outside, the pervasive white mist enveloped the Dimension World.

Within the shifting fog, several mist-like life forms resembling fleshy masses were curiously observing their ship.

"15%..." Li Ming sensed a restrictive feeling in his mind—the precursor to his brain’s heightened development, marking the emergence of spiritual power, an additional benefit of the evolutionary process. Similar benefits were numerous.

The developmental progress had reached 15%, with his Burst Level exceeding 30A. His strength had seen considerable growth, and his perception of Information State had become even sharper. He could now barely capture the Information State of ordinary objects, such as their primary material composition and duration of existence.

"Only two or three more Dimension Worlds to go..." Li Ming estimated the reason behind their visit to this location.

It was to gain a deeper understanding of Terrax Civilization and discern the kind of environment in which the Terrax Stone might appear.

Stepping out of the cabin, Robbin and Lauren were casually chatting away. Robbin harbored a strong curiosity about the Eternal Brilliance Federation.

Upon seeing him emerge, the group immediately composed themselves.

While none of them knew Li Ming’s exact capabilities, Robbin—a Level A life form—was unmistakably polite toward him, clearly deferring to him as the leader.

They exchanged brief pleasantries while Li Ming mulled over the situation regarding Chrono.

Recently, he had occasionally attempted to Control [Talos’ Heart]. It wasn’t about taking risks but rather understanding specific conditions.

[Talos’ Heart] was indeed a rare and top-tier item, serving as the core of the current Control System. It couldn’t simply be wasted.

Whenever he tried to Control it, he felt an inexplicable sensation—as though something within the depths of the Dimension World was drawing him in. By now, he knew that presence was Chrono.

At the same time, he also felt a vague unease. Occasionally, he caught faint glimpses of a life form traversing the Dimension World. Its outward appearance looked human, its expression resolute, holding aloft a crystal shimmering like blood.
