This Life, I Will Be the Protagonist Chapter 711

"His theft skills are stronger than BS-Rita's. He's not lacking in Blocks—he just prioritized reclaiming other items first."

"It's fine. It's just a toy."

"But you're right, I really don't like BS-Rita. If the remaining four [Dull Game] fragments are recovered by Divine Game, I'll be setting their price. I believe I have that authority."

No one in the chat objected. They all tacitly agreed. As he said, he had that authority.

He couldn't forcefully retrieve [Dull Game] from a player, nor could he stop Divine Game from listing it on the marketplace. But he could set the price of items he himself had created.

In a private chat, Deceitful Bloom asked Dull, "I thought when you said that was the only fully-assembled High-Tier Capsule Token during the token debate, you were defending BS-Rita."

"I was just stating a fact," Dull replied.

Deceitful Bloom said nothing further. He'd only been curious.

Every god and demon had their own preferences. They never interfered with one another's likes and dislikes.

Entrance to 1March Theme Park.

The moment Rita used her teleport pass and selected to bring her pets along, Nivalis and B8017913 were immediately transported there.

B8017913 executed a graceful midair turn and landed squarely in Rita's starship. Nivalis, on the other hand, arrived driving a Bumper Car—and immediately rear-ended Rita's ship.

Rita eyed Nivalis, whom she hadn't seen in a while. She was about the same size as Rita now. "Spent all your Blocks on the capsule machine?"

"Mhm!" Nivalis nodded enthusiastically. "But the capsule machine can't get any bigger. Only smaller."

Seeing Rita's baffled expression, Nivalis pulled out her capsule machine to show her.

"I'm serious. The max size it can reach is only a quarter of my current height. It doesn't go any larger. Even if I enlarge myself and place a giant capsule machine, then shrink again, the machine shrinks with me."

"What?!" Rita was so stunned she didn't even bother heading into the Theme Park yet. She took the capsule machine from Nivalis, inspecting it closely. "No way… this isn't a knockoff, is it?"

After reading the info, she hesitated, then dismissed the idea. "No, it's made by... hmm and hmm, in no particular order."

Rita hadn't directly named any gods, but somehow, B8017913's system flagged multiple divine observers as watching them at that moment.

It made no sense logically—but the result was clear.

Thankfully, Rita had that ingrained caution—always giving proper billing, always adding "in no particular order," even in casual conversation.

After a full inspection, Rita suspected the issue was related to how she'd used her capsule machine in Defend the Gacha. Probably not a major flaw, though. She could fix it.

She wouldn't be able to give Nivalis the same infinitely scalable version, but tweaking the scale multipliers was doable—just not instantly.

She stored the ship, hopped into a Bumper Car with B8017913, and headed straight for the 1March Theme Park Bumper Car game.

While waiting in line, she glanced at the leaderboard posted at the entrance. They had dropped to tenth place.

Her eyes paused on the ninth.

9th Place: Lania Kaia Pine Bloom / Lania Kaia Y1 – Score: 99.2

Anyone who'd contracted with a Mechanoid could recognize another Mechanoid-bound player at a glance. Those with sharp instincts could guess even more. Divine Game didn't really help hide those things.

Y1—that was Pine Bloom's Mechanoid. Wonder what the full designation was.

Just past noon, Rita's group was finally up.

After handing over tickets for all three, Rita pulled out her 15th Month Bumper Car and asked, "Can we use our own Bumper Cars?"

The Gingerbread Man manning the counter, who had been nervous she might try to cancel her game, visibly relaxed. "Yes, that's allowed."

Rita double-checked, "If we drop off the leaderboard mid-game, will the Bumper Car be immediately taken back?"

The Gingerbread Man replied, "No. It'll remain until the game ends."

Satisfied, Rita walked to the edge of the race track and tossed in her enlarged Bumper Car.

The game was already three-quarters through. Aside from those who'd been knocked back to the starting room, most of the active players had bodies well over 1.8 meters tall.

When her group entered their Bumper Car, its size increased proportionally—about 1 meter long by 0.5 meters wide.

In comparison, Rita and Nivalis' car looked like a toy—just 0.3 by 0.15 meters.

While waiting for the rest of the players to join, Rita pulled out Cat's Ideal and entered Waste Manual.

One second later, having gained 50 buffs, she used a cooldown transfer to move the Waste Manual cooldown to another skill—then activated it again.

When time resumed, B8017913 was in mid-discussion, organizing tactics in the team chat.

Rita instructed Nivalis to adjust her capsule machine to the left side of her body, where it could absorb attacks from that angle.

Rita would guard the right. With Bedtime Tale, Absurd Story, and 50 stacked buffs from her two Waste Manual activations, she could handle attacks from Tier 13 players.

Together, they flanked B8017913 like two armored wings.

Rita also enlarged her own capsule machine and strapped it to her back. It was now the same size as their Bumper Car—like a massive shield blocking any attacks from behind.

And because their car was so small, hitting them wouldn't be easy in the first place.

Just as they finished setting everything up, the game filled to capacity.

Rules rang out across the arena.

They were almost identical to those from the 15th Month Theme Park version.

As Nivalis slammed down the accelerator, Rita activated Betrayal, then triggered Spring Scenery & Flowers and Fourfold Spring. Immediately afterward, she opened with Unchanged Fate.

Just thirteen minutes in.

As Phoenix Seat was nearing its end, Rita launched a second Unchanged Fate. But before it could finish, they'd already lit ten music notes.

Thinking of the first-place score—99.7—she barked, "Light them all up again!"

Who said you could only do it once?

B8017913 handed her a blocky pile of assembled Blocks without even looking. Rita grabbed them and shoved the whole stack into the capsule machine.

The one-sided massacre continued.
