This Spiritual Energy is Lethal! Chapter 646

Chapter 646: Chapter 646: Approaching the Land of Fei Huang

Chen Ke got dressed and met with Li Moyang at his villa. Dressed in a black suit and blue tie which he wore for ages, ever since he got the Dimension Pocket, he no longer needed to worry about whether his clothes could conceal a holster.

The underground passage was just a dozen meters long. Chen Ke climbed the stairs and pressed a red button; the wooden partition in front of him slowly slid open—this was Li Moyang’s study.

When he entered Li Moyang’s study through the tunnel, Li was sitting at his desk, playing “Starcraft: Brood War” in his pajamas. The computer was muted, and he was completely engrossed, muttering under his breath.

“Jiong! Jiong! Jiong! Puff-chik! Dad’s tank is just awesome! To kill you damn dogs! Wait for my Yamato Battleship… Huh! You’re here.” Li Moyang heard the sound of his bookshelf sliding along the wall and immediately straightened up, turning to face Chen Ke with a serious look as he emerged from the hidden door.

“What the fuck were you up to just now?” Chen Ke said, while turning a green book on the shelf slightly, causing the bookshelf to slowly slide back and cover the secret door.

“Nothing much, I was looking into some information on Sleery, and also, I’ve got the gun you wanted. It’s in my yard.” Li Moyang stood up and closed his laptop.

“Is the information reliable? Who disclosed it to you?” Chen Ke asked.

“Wuan Heavy Industry has factories worldwide, and we also have our satellite network so no worries there,” Li said nonchalantly.

Chen Ke, unfamiliar with the world of wealthy people and clueless about how much industrial giants could do, did not respond.

“Let’s take a look at the piece you wanted,” Li Moyang suggested.

“I remember the first time I asked you for a gun, you made it sound really difficult,” Chen Ke said with a laugh.

“Yes, I don’t have connections in the arms industry, especially not the underground arms market. I never wanted to deal with them,” Li Moyang nodded.

“This time, the piece I wanted was much trickier than the last; how did you manage to sort it out so quickly?” Chen Ke asked.

“I had to call in a favor from another friend to get it done,” Li Moyang replied.

The two walked out of the house to the backyard, where a row of tables was set up next to the pool, piled high with various sizes of wooden boxes—clearly just delivered.

For someone of Li Moyang’s status, seeking help wasn’t easy; such favors could turn problematic, and Chen Ke was well aware that adult interests involved exchange.

He wouldn’t save Li Moyang’s life, and Li wouldn’t help him if it weren’t mutual. Having a wealthy friend was crucial for Chen Ke.

“This is what you wanted; it’s all here,” Li Moyang said, gesturing at the tables for Chen Ke to take a look.

The first thing that caught Chen Ke’s eye was a dark green elongated weapon case. He stepped forward to open it and found a brand-new AT12 rocket launcher inside, but without the accompanying rockets.

Chen Ke wasn’t sure if Lin Mo would know how to use it, but figured it wouldn’t be too hard with some practice at the Illusion Dream Center, judging from his years of watching movies.

Next, there was a black weapon case lying inside a long wooden box. Chen Ke took out the weapon case and opened it—it contained an NTW-20 anti-material sniper rifle, disassembled into parts.

“This rifle shoots rounds as big as a jet cannon shell, thicker than a beer bottle… What do you plan to do with it?” Li Moyang couldn’t help asking.

“When you encounter something big enough, you’ll understand what it’s for,” Chen Ke replied with a smile.

“I suggest that when encountering such things, priority should be given to retreating,” Li Moyang said.

Chen Ke closed the case of the sniper rifle, guessing that once assembled, it would probably be twice as long as he was…

He opened another weapon box, which contained Suluo’s ShAK-12 automatic rifle. Calling it an automatic rifle was actually somewhat misleading since it could be understood as a shotgun that fired slugs, with a caliber of 12.7mm, capable of penetrating any bulletproof vest or armored vehicle, but with a range of only 100 meters and a magazine capacity of 20 rounds.

Chen Ke didn’t mind the short range; recalling his previous battles, most situations either involved spotting the enemy from afar or engaging in close-quarters combat, with no chances for mid-range encounters, so for him, firepower was more important than range.

Finally, there was a large box on the floor, reaching up to Chen Ke’s waist, containing a big piece of equipment.

“M134 Minigun… something hanging under the United Federation’s armed helicopters. When the gunsmith told me about this, I thought you were joking,” Li Moyang said.

“You actually got it?! Damn, your guy has good connections with the military,” Chen Ke, picking up a crowbar next to him, wedged it into the crack of the box and pried it open. The Minigun was disassembled into three parts, the barrel, the body, and the ammunition drum, lying in the sawdust.

“Of course not… it wasn’t that easy, even my friend had a hard time dealing with it. Eventually, I simply bought a similar armed helicopter from the manufacturer at triple the price and then dismantled the gun…” Li Moyang explained.

“Look on the bright side, with this thing, it will be much harder for others to take your life,” Chen Ke consoled.

“It’s not the money I’m worried about… I’m just curious, how much ammunition do you need to bring? This thing can fire hundreds of rounds in 10 seconds; if you’re going to use it, you’ll need to prepare a lot of bullets,” Li Moyang noted.

“Ammunition is not an issue, and I have my own methods,” Chen Ke replied.

His blood was his ammunition, though he wondered if firing so fiercely could lead to anemia? He recalled previous battles; it seemed there had never been a case where he had shot himself weak halfway through.

Li Moyang was aware that Chen Ke was not an ordinary Spiritual Ability User, so he did not inquire further. He watched as Chen Ke “collected” each weapon from the table, making them disappear into thin air, and couldn’t help feeling envious.

“What ability is that?” he couldn’t help but ask.

“What?” Chen Ke counter-asked.

“Once you swipe, things just disappear… How do you do it? Can that ability be shared?” Li Moyang asked cautiously.

“No, it can’t be shared,” Chen Ke shook his head, a sorry expression on his face.

“Oh…” Li Moyang sighed deeply, his expression crestfallen.

“Let’s talk about Sleery… where was she found by your people? When was she found? How long ago was that?” Chen Ke cut straight to the point.

“She is far from us, Chen Ke, she’s not in the United Federation,” Li Moyang said.

“What? Which country did she flee to?” Chen Ke raised his eyebrow.

“She is very close to the Fei Huang Republic, Chen Ke, very close. Do you want to drop by your hometown on the way?” Li Moyang smiled.

“You’re not telling me she went to Fei Huang…” Chen Ke said.

“She’s in Sunrise; my people spotted a purple-haired woman appearing in Kyoto of the Sunrise Country, right on Shenshi Town’s World Yifan Street, two days ago,” Li Moyang said.
