The guards of Snow Rush City never returned.
Before dawn, another cavalry unit rushed out of the south gate to search for the previous squad’s traces.
The King of Snow Rush City and his advisors discussed countermeasures throughout the night in the longhouse, puzzled by the strange occurrences within their domain.
At dawn, the sky turned pale as a soldier hurriedly dragged a shield into the King’s longhouse. At this time, the King had just risen from his bed, draped in a bearskin cloak and coarse linen nightwear.

"King Balgov! Four wanderers have arrived at the city gate," the guard exclaimed.
"What is special about them?" Balgov asked.
"They demand that the city’s king lead them," the guard replied.
Balgov lowered his head, staring at the wooden floor in thought for a few seconds, searching his mind through decades of enemies made among the clans in Asgard, trying to determine if this matter was related to him.
Then he lifted his head. No, this matter couldn’t be related to him. His enemies had been vanquished, and any potential threats had long been eradicated, along with their families. There couldn’t be any blood feud left.
"Lead the way? Where did they come from? And where do they want to go?" Balgov scoffed.
"They didn’t mention it," the guard replied.
"Where are they? Did you let them into the city?" Balgov asked.
"Of course not, we closed the city gates and positioned archers on the lookout tower," the guard said.
"Well done, but it’s a bit of an overreaction... Why haven’t the cavalry sent last night reported back?" Balgov questioned.
"They..." The guard started, but Balgov could already see the bad news on his face.
"I understand. I will go to the city gate immediately. You did well; now return to the barracks and rest," Balgov took a deep breath, sensing trouble right at his doorstep.
After a while, Balgov was fully dressed, a mithril-made small hand axe at his waist, and, along with some inner-city guards, climbed onto the battlements of the south gate.
Four wanderers stood on the dirt road outside the city. They were cloaked, hooded, and silent.
"Hmm... Look at that guy; he must be the City Lord, right?" Diana whispered.
"I think he looks like a eunuch... He’s too skinny compared to the other guards. Aren’t Asgardian men known to fight bears with their bare hands?" Sleery glanced at Diana.
"Do you really believe their tall tales?" Xu Jing shook her head.
Chen Ke stood in front of the witch, lifting his hood to reveal his face. There was no sun in the sky, and a strange white light was somewhat blinding. He closed his eyes, feeling the cold air, and heard the man on the city wall calling out to him.
"Who are you down there? State your names!" the soldier beside Balgov demanded.
Chen Ke looked at them and said, "I am... King of Nine Realms, son of Odin, bearer of Mjolnir, the Thunder..."
Before he could finish, the guard interrupted Chen Ke, scolding angrily, "Shut your filthy mouth! Take back your mad words! In Asgard, no one insults our gods!"
"Hahahahahahaha!!!" Balgov laughed.
"So... are you the City Lord here?" Chen Ke asked, looking at Balgov.

"I come from a world much larger than this one," Chen Ke replied.
"I can see that, for only outsiders dare to insult Thor in Asgard," Balgov stated.
"I have a request. I hope you can take me somewhere," Chen Ke said.
"My people say you’ll only speak to me. Tell me, where do you want to go? If you’re in a hurry, I’m willing to lend you a few horses," Balgov stated.
No sooner had he spoken than several guards on the wall began to chuckle.
"That would be great then... Ought not have hoarded treasures from Nine Realms, I want to go to his treasure trove, and I want his wife Freyja," Chen Ke said.
"Your words are very dangerous, and no one can be held responsible for you," Balgov said.
"Freyja... or Frigga? It’s said they’re the same person. But it doesn’t matter; I want her soul and power, as well as what Odin has hidden here," Chen Ke stated.

"Fire!!!" A loud shout echoed from behind the city gates.
In an instant, all the guards on the wall shot arrows at Chen Ke and his group, and over twenty arrows sliced through the air, arching towards Chen Ke.
As the arrowheads approached them, they suddenly stopped in mid-air.
Chen Ke looked at the arrows before him, noticing the silver arrowheads, not made of cheap iron. The arrowheads bore patterns, shimmering with white light, indistinguishable from the weapons used by the knights.

Chen Ke stretched out his hand, pinching his forefinger and middle finger together, and snapped his fingers at the arrows before him.
