"Whether I’m a legend or not, killing you is still a breeze, isn’t it?" Mu You looked back and glanced at him.
The demon was silenced, his face turning red and his neck swelling. He couldn’t deny it because Mu You had just killed him effortlessly and in a matter of seconds.
"Just cut to the chase, what are your terms?" The Son of Heaven shook his head. After all the side-tracking, they were still aiming to capitalize on their advantageous position to set terms. But their plans of acting pretentiously and teaming up with Jack were too far-fetched.
"It’s fair if I guide you out of District 2, and you guide me through at least one district," Mu You said.
The Son of Heaven glanced at him, showing no hesitation before nodding, "Agreed."
"You sure his word is trustworthy?" Mu You asked the others while looking at them.
"Yes, of course, he is!" The crowd hastily responded.
"But didn’t say which district we’d bring you through, haha..." someone explained to others in their team chat.
Everyone smirked discreetly without spilling the beans, secretly agreeing to ditch Mu You the moment he becomes redundant after leaving District 2.
However, Mu You seemingly oblivious to their word play, continued to lead the way with peace of mind.
Next, Mu You led the way, and everyone followed quietly. They took turns to attack the octopus-like creatures, slowing them down. The atmosphere seemed unusually harmonious.
The situation continued for about one and a half hours. Finally, they managed to pass through District 2 and arrive at the entrance of District 3.
Upon seeing the exit ahead, all members of the Divine Power team heaved a sigh of relief. Thankfully, this guy didn’t pull any tricks and brought us out successfully.
Surprisingly, this embarrassed quite a few out-of-game players who had malicious intentions, as Mu You was surprisingly honest.
But now was not the time for sentimentality. Some loss of face and reputation are necessary sacrifices for the position of City Lord.
The crowd shared a look covertly. Players in real life also began to strategize and soon, everyone understood their roles.
A few seconds later, they all made a move as if on cue upon stepping into District 3.
The team from Divine Power split into five groups of more than a hundred men each. Two groups stayed behind to stop the octopus, immediately starting the attack, but they only dealt with those octopuses chasing them, ignoring the ones following Mu You.
The remaining three teams, led by the Son of Heaven, the demon, and a man named Smiley, rushed in three different directions.
"Hey, hey! Wasn’t I supposed to be guided through a district?" Mu You immediately shouted in the back lane.
"We said we’d guide you through a district, but never specified which one."
"We assure you we’ll guide you through District 6..."
"But the premise is you must be there by the time we reach District 6..."
Teasing sounds echoed all around.
Mu You didn’t utter a word and continued to follow the team led by Son of Heaven, leading a large number of octopuses.
Thanks to the impeding efforts of the two previous groups, the octopuses following Mu You were cut to half, significantly reducing the pressure of escape.
The three groups of people at the front saw Mu You following the Son of Heaven’s group, they didn’t interfere but continued to move towards their predetermined targets and quickly scattered in the streets.

Meanwhile, in another place, Mu You, looking at the empty streets and the relentlessly pursuing octopuses, sighed, "Humans are unreliable indeed. I have to place my trust in you creatures instead."
In the absence of any contract, he wasn’t naive enough to believe that the Son of Heaven and his men would keep their promise to lead him through the next district.
