Mu You had kept watch from the afternoon until the evening, doing all sorts of odd jobs in between. To avoid detection, he had no choice but to endure.
However, what concerned him was that in an hour, the weekly secret technique conference would begin. If he let the old man continue his antics, wouldn’t he miss the meeting?
Fortunately, around eleven at night, the old man seemed unable to hold on and fell asleep on the lounge chair.
[You see the old goblin lying sideways on a rocking chair, his eyes tightly shut, sporadic snores gradually growing louder, clearly deep in sleep.]
Mu You immediately stopped the servant’s work, moved his game character to the charging stations lined up against the wall, found a spot in the middle, pushed the robot off and replaced it with himself.

In the old-fashioned great hall, Mu You once again appeared at the head of the long table.

Mu You subconsciously glanced at Taurus seated next to him.
He had thought that after what Taurus had said when she left last time, she might be hindered by some rules this week and wouldn’t be able to attend. Yet, here she was.
Just like before, Taurus was engrossed in a tablet, showing no interest in other people. Mu You didn’t rush to ask her about Sky City matters.
Every meeting begins with a discussion of the events from the previous week.
The most important event this week was undoubtedly the appearance of several Sky Cities. Thus, the Lion naturally became the focus of everyone’s attention, because after the emergence of the first five cities, it would soon be the Lion’s turn to fight for control of Sun City.
"Gentlemen and ladies, please, I beg of you, lend us some long-range reinforcements during the day. We estimate that we will start seizing the city around noon today. Mu You nodded, not dwelling on the issue any further and directed the meeting back on track.
"If there are no other matters to discuss, let’s officially start this week’s meeting."
No one else objected to this.
However, just as everyone was prepared to proceed with the traditional card exchange, Taurus suddenly spoke.
Everyone instinctively turned towards Taurus.
"What’s up?" asked Mu You.
"Before you guys start, I have a question," Taurus said.
Taurus didn’t answer but instead surveyed the group. Her gaze eventually rested on one person.
"Who...is this person?"
Everyone followed Taurus’ gaze, only to find her looking at Scorpio.
Scorpio looked bewildered at first, then pointed to himself, "Me?"
"What’s wrong with him?" Mu You asked, as the others also pricked up their ears.
"This person’s aura... is different from the ones before," Taurus stated.
Everyone’s eyes instantly returned to Scorpio, scanning him thoroughly, but they didn’t notice anything amiss.
All of the attendees were shrouded in black mist, making it impossible to see their IDs or clothes, only vague outlines. As long as their gender and body shape didn’t change drastically, it would be very hard to discern any difference.
After a moment of confusion, Scorpio seemed to have realized something and chuckled, "Oh, I got a new skin this week. I must have forgotten to change back before coming here, so Taurus might have mistaken me for someone else..."
Scorpio gave his explanation, but everyone held off on drawing any conclusions. Instead, their eyes were collectively turned back towards Taurus.
Taurus shook her head, staring directly at Scorpio, "Stop pretending. I’m very sure, you are not the same person as last week!"
