Yin Junchi was still talking:
"Altogether, how many people were there? Let me think... I have to think... there were six hundred and thirty people! Surrounding me in circles! Circles around me, their eyes staring at me, bloodshot, their mouths wide open, making strange screams."
Six hundred and thirty people? Such a precise number surprised Wen Xishu.
But soon, that fine sense of fear appeared.
If hundreds of people sat beside you, circling around you, could you instantly count how many there were? Maybe someone with an exceptional talent for numbers could, but most likely, Yin Junchi wasn’t such a genius.
So how did Yin Junchi know there were six hundred and thirty people surrounding him, making strange screams?
It was very likely that Yin Junchi couldn’t escape that hallucination at all, so he could only stay in the middle and start counting. This scene might not be terrifying, but after counting six hundred terrified faces, the mental contamination must not be low.
Wen Xishu found it somewhat interesting:
"Is there more to it?"
"That’s it. That’s it. I just see these hallucinations frequently. It’s terrifying, I seem to struggle in the hallucinations for a long time, but when I break free, I find that only a short time has passed."
"Only writing calms me. As soon as I close my eyes and try to rest, the hallucinations attack me from time to time."
"But you know, I can write. While creating, I feel serene. This is good, honestly, it’s the flow state I’m pursuing."
"I just wish I could always be in this state, but reason tells me I have to find a way to rest."
"This state is great, but it’s impossible for the body to stay in such a state all the time! Impossible!"
Yin Junchi suddenly widened his eyes, opened his mouth, and said somewhat grimly:
"Good neighbor, can you help me, right?"
This scene made Wen Xishu feel even more intrigued. You must know, Yin Junchi seemed quite normal at first, though he had deep dark circles, which is not uncommon among novelists.
