Three Towers Game Chapter 175

Actually, this lamp isn’t that special. But Wang Ying had to show that the lamp was great.

After all, it was the lamp he chose to appraise; he couldn’t afford to be wrong.

Once a person has a public image and idol baggage, it becomes very difficult to truly be oneself.

"Captain, you’re awesome. What’s the function of this lamp?"

Zheng Zai was also quite curious.

"I’m not exactly sure, but right now, my eyes are seeing several different perspectives..."

Wang Ying spoke as he turned his back.

The light was dim but enough to illuminate this small hospital room. Wang Ying said:

"Although I have turned around, I can see what you all are seeing."

"Zheng Zai, you’re staring at this lamp."

"Tong Ming, you’re looking at the ceiling."

"Wen Xishu, what are you looking for? Why are you rummaging through the cabinet?"

Everyone understood. The lamp in Wang Ying’s hand shared the vision of anyone illuminated by its light with Wang Ying.

Tong Ming clapped his hands:

"This is really a treasure. Captain, with this lamp, you can see what each of us is seeing, so you’ll surely notice more details."

Zheng Zai nodded in agreement but thought internally about the item...

Would Wang Ying be able to handle having five people’s vision? Could he manage it?

Was it good? To Zheng Zai, it seemed good. But if he read five books or viewed five different scenes at once... he might feel a bit overwhelmed.

He felt this item would suit Younger Brother Wen.

It’s like having five monitors but your CPU hasn’t changed... you might not be able to smoothly capture all the information on each monitor.

Wen Xishu didn’t clap or flatter, just continued searching the bedside cabinet.

"What are you looking for?"

"I’m wondering why there’s such a lamp in this hospital room."

"Analyzing tasks, we’ll find that our tolerance for the rules has increased. But the anti-magic value required for interpreting items has increased."

"Is it possible to find clues elsewhere?"

Wen Xishu felt that the mental hospital, combined with museum elements, should have some mental hospital elements noticeable.

He’s found the museum elements, but what about the mental hospital elements?

What does the iron chain on the floor imply?

Wang Ying shook his head:

"Don’t overinterpret, there are treasures everywhere here. I think we shouldn’t identify those overly bizarre items."

"If we all rummage through things like you, our process will slow down."

Wen Xishu was unmoved.

He had already found a small note, with a drawing of a little girl, blindfolded, with her hands tied.

But there were no words to describe it.

With the lamp’s effect, what Wen Xishu saw became visible to Wang Ying as well. Wang Ying didn’t think much of the drawing.

However, Aspasia felt that Wen Xishu made some sense, but she noticed that Wang Ying didn’t like Wen Xishu’s independent attitude.

This actually stemmed from the style of the Gambler’s Society members, which was similar to the Slaughter Tower’s team operations.

Almost everything had to be reported to the captain, who bore all the responsibility.

Wang Ying was someone willing to take responsibility, which was why Aspasia liked working with him.

But Wang Ying enjoyed the self-gratification of being the one to bear the load.

If someone performed better than him... that would be troublesome.

"Let’s move on, don’t waste time here."

Wen Xishu still stared at the note.

With divided attention, he pondered the note’s meaning while wondering why there was a large TV wall at the end of the corridor?

Why was the identification divided into group and individual appraisals? Why was there a mandatory item display function?

The task hint mentioned that the great inventor foresaw the apocalypse, invented items, hoped people would use them, and then the inventor died.

The hint also mentioned that appraising items had risks—but there seemed to be no risks at all now.

All the clues were in Wen Xishu’s mind. He felt the hospital was hiding some secret, and there must be another link, likely related to the identified items.

Sure enough, as soon as Wang Ying stepped out of the hospital room, he suddenly—disappeared.

This scene stunned Tong Ming and scared Zheng Zai.

Not only Wang Ying, but Aspasia also vanished.

At this moment, a sound came from the TV wall at the end of the corridor.

"Where have we been teleported to!"

[You are familiar enough with the items, so you stepped out of the room. Now entering the item usage stage.]

Everyone, including Tong Ming, Zheng Zai, and Wen Xishu, received this notification.

From the TV wall, Aspasia’s annoyed voice could be heard:

"What does the item usage stage mean? Captain, are you being a bit hasty!"

Aspasia was clearly unhappy with this sudden teleportation.

She felt many dangerous breaths nearby, inching closer. Wang Ying angrily said:

"Who could predict this! How could I know we’d be teleported here?"

Wang Ying and Aspasia had already arrived in a city ruin.

They hid in the shadow of a broken building. From nearby, they seemed to hear the sounds from the throats of eerie creatures.

[Current challenge, Lv1.]

All the notifications seemed to appear in everyone’s minds even including those not teleported like Tong Ming and Zheng Zai.
