Gu Shengyin arrived at the agreed restaurant and saw Ludwig looking at something on his phone.
She had sharp eyes and immediately noticed that the screen displayed a photo of her, apparently taken secretly at a coffee shop earlier.
When Ludwig saw her, he didn’t even try to hide it and saved the photo to his album right in front of her.
Ludwig smiled and said, “Very beautiful.”

Ludwig slid the menu toward her: “What would you like to eat?”
Seeing her look around, he smiled considerately: “I followed Miss Song’s recommendation; she mentioned that this place is safe, no need to worry about paparazzi.”
Gu Shengyin made her order, and the waiter who had been waiting nearby quickly took the order and left.
Ludwig was getting up to pour Gu Shengyin some wine.
His slender, fair fingers held the wine glass, contrasting beautifully with the clear red liquid.

The food was served quickly, and Gu Shengyin ate slowly, her manners quite elegant.
Ludwig supported his chin and watched her the entire time.

Ludwig interrupted her: “Call me Ludwig.”
Gu Shengyin: “Okay, Ludwig, is there something wrong with my makeup today?”
Ludwig said with a smile: “Not at all; you look beautiful today.”
Gu Shengyin: “Then why are you staring at me?”
Ludwig’s smile brightened: “Because, Keyi, you are beautiful. There’s an old Chinese saying, ‘Beauty is a feast for the eyes.’ I’m trying to see if it’s true.”
Gu Shengyin: Okay, she had confirmed that Ludwig was joking with her.
But she couldn’t get mad over it; that would seem too graceless.
Gu Shengyin thought for a moment and then said to Ludwig, “If you continue , perhaps you won’t feel hungry, but the lady across from you will be too embarrassed to eat.”
Ludwig blinked, sincerity in his blue eyes: “Why?”
Gu Shengyin inwardly gritted her teeth but maintained a perfect smile: “Because being watched by such a handsome gentleman, any woman would struggle to concentrate.”
She never knew Ludwig could be so shameless.
“Oh, then I understand,” Ludwig seemed to realize something, “Keyi, you like my face.” He said confidently.
Gu Shengyin had never seen such a shameless person. She laughed through gritted teeth: “Everyone appreciates beauty.”
Ludwig’s face lit up as if he had an epiphany, and he suddenly beamed at Gu Shengyin: “Then, Keyi, let’s date.”
Gu Shengyin: … Wait! What kind of development was this?
Ludwig continued: “Look. You like my appearance, which means you feel positively about me. And fittingly, I like you very much. So, let’s date.”
