Gu Shengyin quickly replied, “Director Li, don’t misunderstand, it’s not what you think.”
Ludwig seemed unconcerned, “Keyi’s not wrong. We are just friends for now. But I am pursuing her, and if ever our relationship changes, I’ll be sure to thank you for your blessings.”
Gu Shengyin, not in the mood for idle talk, walked away.
Ludwig promptly excused himself with Director Li and followed her.
