“Young Master Laine, I heard you’ve acquired a new swordsmanship teacher, and I especially wanted to ask for some pointers,” said a brawny blond man to Lancelot.
As he finished speaking, he looked at Gu Shengyin, whose graceful figure was still discernible despite being wrapped in a black cloak, with undisguised contempt in his tone.
“I heard your new teacher is actually a woman?” He sized up Gu Shengyin, “Such a frail woman should stay at home under the protection of men. A sword is not a suitable weapon for a woman to wield!”

Lancelot was furious. This blond, muscular man was his previous swordsmanship teacher, named Hart, whose skills were indeed not bad but who was arrogant and proud, especially disdainful of women.

Gu Shengyin paid no attention to him, instead turning to Lancelot and saying, “Watch carefully, this is the true power of swordsmanship.”
Lancelot was curious. He had always known about Yekaterina’s strength but had never seen her wield a sword.
Then, he watched with wide eyes.
A dazzling flash of sword light shone forth.
The gigantic sword in Hart’s hand, which was said to be forged from the sturdiest of materials, was effortlessly sliced into two.
The sword in Gu Shengyin’s hand was now resting against his neck.
A chill spread from his neck throughout Hart’s body, and he had no doubt that this sword could easily sever his whole head, just like the half of the sword that lay on the ground.
“So tell me, can this thin sword, stopped at your throat, cut through your throat?” Gu Shengyin gently pushed her sword forward a bit, and Hart immediately felt a sharp pain.
