Gu Shengyin looked at Olinwen, who had stopped her, with some confusion.
Olinwen’s usually melancholic blue eyes had turned dark red, and his gentle and elegant face had taken on a sinister charm.
“Yekaterina, you are my fiancée, how can you entertain thoughts of another man?” he said lowly.
“What a joke.” Yekaterina looked at him coldly, “Olinwen, where do you get the confidence to say such things to me?”
A flash of agony crossed Olinwen’s eyes, quickly overshadowed by the blood-red color.
“I won’t allow you to fall for another man. The only one who can match you, is me!” Olinwen declared, staring intently at Gu Shengyin.
Gu Shengyin was somewhat rattled by this unexpected development. What was happening? Wasn’t Olinwen in love with Rita?
“Olinwen, you’re not in your right mind now. Take a good look, I am not Rita.” Gu Shengyin looked into Olinwen’s blood-red eyes, knowing this was a sign of madness in the Malkawi Clan.
“Rita? So you thought that I liked her?” Olinwen laughed lowly.
“I’m perfectly clear-headed, Yekaterina. What is Rita to me? If she didn’t bear a passing resemblance to you, I wouldn’t have given her a second glance. The one I’ve always loved, has been you,” he said, almost sighing.
Olinwen appeared to divulge a secret that he’d kept buried for years, his gaze never straying from Gu Shengyin.
Indeed, his words left Gu Shengyin astonished.
“System, you never told me that Olinwen’s true love was actually Yekaterina.”
The system was just as innocent: “I didn’t know either; there was no such thing in the original plot.”

Olinwen, left by himself, covered his face and chuckled lowly: “To deal with a human? Yekaterina, you think too lowly of me, Olinwen Malkawi.”
After all, Yekaterina was the supreme leader of the Bruch Clan; she couldn’t possibly spend all her time on Lancelot.
She only occasionally checked on Lancelot’s wellbeing, leaving things behind without ever meeting him.
