With just a glance, Gu Shengyin knew this was almost the strongest lineup in Talk and Laugh Itinerant.
The other five players were all in the top ten of the PK rankings.
I Just Watch and Stay Silent and Smile in the Wind were both chatterboxes + jokers. The Unrestrained Wind was more reserved, rarely speaking except when on missions.
Rustling Wood and Mountains Rivers Family were both Swordsmen, Smile in the Wind was a Beast Tamer, I Just Watch and Stay Silent was an assassin, and The Unrestrained Wind was a Taoist.
In short, their group was four heavy hitters plus a Milk Mother, without a single tank.
Smile in the Wind had once raised a question, to which Gu Shengyin and Mountains and Rivers in One Sword were surprisingly unanimous, “Just kill our way through.”
Mountains and Rivers Smile: Okay, you two gods are the only ones who have the right to say that.
As it turned out, they were completely right.
Basically, the mobs weren’t a threat, and when a boss appeared, Mountains and Rivers Smile and Rustling Wood would go in with a strong attack, almost halving the boss’s health in one go. The Unrestrained Wind quietly stood in the background, never having felt so redundant as a Milk Mother.
Mountains and Rivers Smile remarked: It’s the first time killing a boss has felt so refreshing.

The only trouble they encountered was in the final round, where the last monster not only had formidable attack power, but also a maddeningly high health pool.
With the Swordsman profession of both Gu Shengyin and Mountains and Rivers in One Sword being inherently squishy and both primarily stacking attack and agility, it would take only a couple of hits from that monster to bring them down.

The group grinded it out, eventually wearing the monster down to just twenty percent health.
“Be careful, it’s about to go berserk!”
Smile in the Wind shouted a warning, and sure enough, the monster’s entire body flashed red as it entered berserk mode.
“Damn, attack power and defensive power instantly boosted by thirty percent! Why does it have to be so freakish?” Smile in the Wind cursed out loud.
“My pet can barely scratch it.” Smile in the Wind expressed his frustration as his Spirit Pet bit the monster, causing only a minor drop in health.
Seeing the monster’s seven-figure health pool, he felt his outlook on life grow dim.
“The Unrestrained Wind, heal me, be ready to top me up anytime!” Gu Shengyin, however, her eyes sparkling, was eager to try her hand against the monster.
It was perfect timing; she hadn’t used her new set of Chain of Ultimate Kills yet.
