It was exactly the same as the Land of Inauspicious described in the documents, where the divinities used to exile the Demon Clan.
Carlos looked equally troubled following her realization; clearly, he too had figured out where they were.
Both grasped the gravity of the situation: the Demon Clan had already managed to create a Teleportation Array out of the Land of Inauspicious.
Did that not mean that the shackles of the Endless Abyss on the Demon Clan no longer existed, and they could come to the Arcane Continent whenever they wished?

“Saintess of the Church of Light, Commander of the Knights of Light.” The High-Rank Demon flashed a slight smile, his face brimming with an androgynous allure inherent to the Demons.
A chill ran through Gu Shengyin; their presence had been detected so quickly and their names called out so accurately, it was likely they had been discovered the moment they arrived.
Her expression hardened, “The Demon Clan is exiled to the Land of Inauspicious, never to enter the Arcane Continent, as decreed by the divinities. Now, do you intend to defy the divinities?”
“God?” The Demon scoffed, “The God of Light only cares about his believers, he despises us Demons. He is certainly not our divinity.”
He looked at Gu Shengyin and Carlos, his gaze bloodthirsty, “Perfect, a Saintess of the Church of Light and a Commander of the Knights of Light. I shall capture you both as a sacrifice for my god’s return to the mortal realm!”
As his words fell, countless Demons surged out from the darkness, attacking them.
Carlos immediately drew his long sword.
“Her Holiness, stand behind me!”
But Gu Shengyin raised her scepter, “I am not a woman who hides behind others in times of danger!”
Carlos hesitated for a moment, then smiled, “Well then, Carlos is fortunate to fight alongside Her Holiness.”
The Power of Light, which was out of place in the Land of Inauspicious, surged forth, lightly burning the Low-Rank Demons and completely incinerating the stronger ones.
It seemed like the two were overwhelmingly crushing the group of Demons, but Gu Shengyin knew the situation was dire.
In this Land of Inauspicious, Demons were endless, yet she and Carlos could not absorb even a trace of the Power of Light to replenish themselves.
At this rate, they would eventually run out of energy.
