Her gaze turned utterly cold, "My mother entered the Yan family at fourteen, married to you for over twenty years, always diligently managing your household. Do you really not care at all about over twenty years of affection?"
Old Master Yan snorted coldly and did not speak.
"What do you want me to do?" Gu Shengyin suddenly softened her tone.
A look of smug satisfaction appeared on Old Master Yan’s face. This eldest daughter, no matter how stubborn, wasn’t she still obedient under his control?
He raised his hand and stroked his goatee, "In one month, the Li Family will send someone with the betrothal gifts to take you as a bride."

She looked at Old Master Yan, her gaze making him somewhat unable to meet her eyes, "But now, you want my Ruohua to marry into that kind of family; you are pushing her toward death!"
Seeing her mother become somewhat emotional, Gu Shengyin quickly tried to soothe her, "Mother, don’t be upset, rest assured, I won’t marry. Ruohua will be fine, always staying with mother."
Madam Yan looked at her daughter, who was anxiously comforting her, and then at Old Master Yan, who was coldly watching them, feeling something in her heart ready to burst forth.
"I would rather die than let my Ruohua marry into the Li family. Old Master, you want to divorce your wife? Then go ahead!"
