Joanna felt she could no longer resist such a gaze.

Only, Gu Shengyin was not the true Angela; she did not want to develop any relationship with Stephen, and so she did not exhibit the joy and dependency on him as she did in the original plot.
Gu Shengyin stayed at Steve’s house for half a month.

The body of Angela was composed of the purest Element of Light, and the Dark Power of the Blood Clan had no way of merging with this body.

On matters of principle, the system stated that it was a good system and could not possibly compromise.
Three days later, Angela said her goodbyes to Stephen and Joanna.
"Don’t you have amnesia? Wouldn’t it be unsafe?" Joanna was somewhat worried.
Gu Shengyin smiled purely, "A premonition tells me, I should go to Yue City."
Stephen tried to persuade her to stay too, but the couple could not sway Gu Shengyin’s determination.
Joanna prepared many things for Gu Shengyin, spare clothes, identification papers they managed to obtain for her, as well as some food.
In the end, Joanna stuffed a lot of cash into the bag.
Gu Shengyin did not refuse, knowing she might need it.
Before leaving, Gu Shengyin gave a white necklace to both Steve and Joanna.

Until during a trip, the vehicle carrying the couple, who had since married, was involved in a pile-up accident, killing half of the tourists in the carriage on the spot, while the other half were injured to varying degrees.
Only the two of them came out without a scratch.
