"I’m here to find His Royal Highness the Crown Prince," Qin Quexi said coldly to the palace attendant of Qinghuang Palace.
The palace attendant smiled with utmost respect, "Unfortunately, Your Royal Highness Prince Yong, our master has been unexpectedly detained..."
Qin Quexi scoffed coldly, "Not here again, is he?"
He tried to barge in regardless of the palace attendant’s protests.
The attendant grew anxious, "Your Royal Highness Prince Yong, what are you doing? To trespass into Qinghuang Palace is a grave crime!"
Guards had already come over to stop Qin Quexi.
While they were at an impasse, Bi Xin came out from inside.
Bi Xin glanced at Qin Quexi and said respectfully, "Your Royal Highness Prince Yong, our master invites you."
With a cold expression, Qin Quexi followed her into Qinghuang Palace.
As they reached the entrance of the grand hall, Bi Xin tactfully halted, "His Highness is inside,"
Quexi stepped forward and upon entering, the first sight was the woman sitting in the main seat of the hall, drinking wine.
She was dressed in a loose white robe, her hair scattered, with quite the air of a distinguished intellectual.
Seeing him enter, Gu Shengyin raised a smile, "Quexi is here, just in time to join this palace for a drink."
Qin Quexi studied her seriously. Her appearance at that moment differed from anything he had ever seen.
Unalike the formally dressed, supremely dignified Crown Prince, her such casual attire bestowed upon her every movement an indescribable air of nonchalant grace. Her captivating allure was indefinable wherever her gaze landed.
Qin Quexi had to admit, Huang Changge in this state had the charm to obsess any man.
All men, of course, included himself, Qin Quexi.
However, he didn’t respond as Gu Shengyin had hoped, but just stood there motionless, his beautiful face covered with an icy chill, "I’ve heard that His Royal Highness the Crown Prince is preparing to welcome his Legal Spouse?"
Gu Shengyin was taken aback for a moment, then laughed carelessly, "His Royal Highness Prince Yong is truly well-informed."
That was an admission.

Her hand was grasped tightly by Qin Quexi, whose strength was so great, it was as though he could break her hand right off.
"Forget?" Qin Quexi repeated softly, then suddenly laughed, his eyes devoid of any mirth.
"What do you take me for, Crown Prince? After teasing me, you think you can send me away with a simple ’forget’?"
With a sweep of his sleeve, he cleared the table of its contents, and the sound of cups and dishes shattering filled the room.
Qin Quexi’s kiss landed undoubtedly on Gu Shengyin’s lips without giving her a chance to object.
There was no question that the kiss was filled with intense emotion, as Qin Quexi roughly bit her lips, as if he wanted to devour her whole with his fierce urgency.
