When he regained his senses, he saw Lord Wu Luo looking back at him with a half-smiling gaze.
Her eyes were like the clearest lake atop a snowy mountain, where time and all things could reflect vividly.
At that moment, Ovis’s only thought was: it’s over, the High Priest has noticed my feelings.
He felt a bit of panic and, not knowing what reaction was appropriate, his expression changed countless times before he finally mustered the courage to look at Gu Shengyin.
If she knew, then so be it; after all, he couldn’t hide it forever, right?
Gu Shengyin took her time enjoying his changing expressions and finally spoke up as he decided to look at her, "You desire me."
It was not a question, but spoken with absolute certainty.
She had indeed noticed. Oddly enough, upon hearing her words, Ovis felt relieved as if something in his heart had finally settled.
He looked at Gu Shengyin somewhat nervously and spoke resolutely, "Yes."
After giving his answer, he looked down, waiting anxiously for a judgment.

Just as he was about to say something, a force suddenly surged into his body, and he found himself uncontrollably ejected from the room.
Landing safely, Ovis looked at the door that had closed behind him with an excitement he couldn’t hide on his face.
Lord Wu Luo had not rejected him!
She said she would only accept the most powerful and prestigious Beastman of the Beastman Continent, but she had clearly told him before that she wanted to rule this land with him!
