In the actual world, bears do not travel to one destination, the other monsters in Abyssal Terra are the same, but Bear Beast Claw is different.
They seemed created only to distract Hunter on their way to the West Station. Because there is only one route that can be used to get to the West Station.
Ars has never been on that route, but it doesn't matter for now.
A group of Bear Beasts were still strolling toward their destination. During their trip they were passive. They will turn aggressive if they find a Hunter, or there is an approaching danger, such as a danger that has just killed one of them.
