Today, I Have Yet to Become a Doll Chapter 259

The three of them looked at it.

Yan Qingwen, refined and courteous, smiled. “It's our first meeting. It's not appropriate to judge.”

Bai Youwei answered frankly, “Unfavorable impression.”

Shen Mo also said, “I don't like pranks.”

The ball was furious. “You ignorant humans! My game has the lowest clearance rate, the widest coverage, and the largest amount of data among all doll games…”

It faltered here, remembering what the rabbit-headed man had said about the game data being singular… Its voice trailed off, feeling a little guilty.

After a two-second pause, the ball snorted loudly!

“Hmph! Anyway… you have no taste!”

Just then, Zhu Shu, who was at the dining table, finished sewing the bow and called out, “Does this look alright?”

Everyone gathered around.

The three of them stopped paying attention to the Inspector and went to the dining table.

Two small teddy bears were placed on the walnut dining table.

They were made of brownish-gray flannel, with black eyes and noses. Each had a red bow with black polka dots around its neck. The two were almost identical.

Li Li exclaimed, “Wow, Zhu Shu, your handiwork is pretty good!”

Su Man curled her lip and muttered sourly, “It's just sewing a bow. What kind of skill is that…”

Yan Qingwen picked one up, looked at it, then looked at the others. “I think it's fine. What do you think?”

Everyone went up to examine the bears one by one.

Zhu Shu bit her lower lip, nervously observing everyone's expression.

This was their only chance of survival, and she didn't want to mess it up.

When no one raised any objections, the tension reached its peak. She clenched her hands, her voice dry as she asked, “Then now… should we open the door?”

Yan Qingwen looked at Shen Mo, his eyes questioning.

Shen Mo thought for a moment and said, “If we're wrong, the guest will go berserk. Just in case, I think we should let the elderly, children, and women go upstairs and find a place to hide.”

Yan Qingwen nodded. “That's what we should do.”

Su Man frowned. “I'll stay. Let Li Li go upstairs. He's completely useless.”

“Su Man!” Li Li's face flushed. “I'm a man, at least. Can you show some respect!”

Su Man glanced at him sideways, speaking without her usual temper for once. “Li Li, I admit you're intelligent, but now is not the time to act tough.”

“I'm not going upstairs either,” Bai Youwei said.

Everyone looked at her.

Bai Youwei said calmly, “I'm in a wheelchair. It's not suitable for me to hide anywhere. I'll stay in the storage room on the first floor.”

The storage room was right next to the stairs. It was a very small room with no windows, dark and filled with brooms, dustpans, mops, old cardboard boxes, ladders, and other miscellaneous items.

Shen Mo opened the storage room door. A musty smell of dust and mildew wafted out. He frowned and turned to look at Bai Youwei behind him.

“Are you sure?”

“Yes,” Bai Youwei said expressionlessly. “This is fine.”

Shen Mo looked at her for a moment, then walked into the storage room and moved out some of the larger cardboard boxes to make room for the wheelchair.

Cheng Wei then took Pan Xiaoxin and Zhu Shu to the second floor to find a place to hide.

Although their bodies had been upgraded by the maze, they lacked both skill and experience in self-defense and fighting.

Six people remained in the living room on the first floor.

Yan Qingwen, Lü Ang, Su Man, Li Li, as well as Shen Mo and Tan Xiao.

The six of them prepared themselves to greet the first guest of the dollhouse.

Su Man pulled a leather whip from her waist and stretched it menacingly. Tan Xiao hadn't brought her baseball bat inside, so she picked up a large piece of firewood and tested its weight in her hand. Li Li also picked up a piece of firewood and lit one end of it in the fireplace…

Bai Youwei waved to Shen Mo from behind the slightly ajar door.

Shen Mo walked over and asked, “What's wrong?”

She took his hand and whispered, “The rabbit is charging. If something happens, I'll have it help you…”
