Hokkaido University Hospital provided free annual physical exams for middle and university students, and this goodwill gesture had earned them an excellent reputation among the public.
After all, it was a significant expense.
What people didn’t know, however, was that Hokkaido University Hospital collected data for the purpose of selecting organs for wealthy clients willing to pay top dollar for organ transplants.
Organ transplant surgery was already well-established, but finding a compatible organ was rare, and many who wished to undergo such surgery would often die waiting. At Hokkaido University Hospital, however, this problem didn’t exist—as long as you had the money, there would always be organs waiting in line for you.
The hospital’s qualifications, equipment, and environment were all in place. Panasonic Toyoshige and some of the hospital’s senior staff involved, including surgeons, were making a fortune off this dark business, with mouths dripping with oil.
And the wealthy businessmen or officials who had undergone surgery with them continuously brought in new clients and provided protection for their illicit trade.
Moreover, since Panasonic Toyoshige was a rational and astute person who knew when to advance or retreat, there had never been any trouble over the years. This incident with Shinichi was purely an unforeseen accident.
"Damn it!" the patient, grinding his teeth, asked with rapid breaths, "Will the police get to you guys?"
He was afraid that if the hospital were taken down by the police,
there would be nowhere left for him to have surgery.
"Don’t worry, the organ transporters died on the spot. There’s no way the police can link us to the hospital," said Panasonic Toyoshige confidently.
The patient breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, that’s good, please arrange the surgery for me as soon as possible, I can pay more."
"Sure!" responded Panasonic Toyoshige, and then turned to leave. The moment he stepped out of the operating room, his expression darkened. He ordered the people waiting outside, "Clean it up, so that the police trace ends with those two delivery guys. Don’t let it back to us."
The transplant surgeries were proceeding normally at the hospital, but the organ harvesting took place at a secret location known as the harvesting garden. The two people responsible for delivery were employees of the harvesting garden. Since both of them were dead, the police would have no testimony to go on. As long as the harvesting garden handled it well, this would be nothing but a false alarm.
So, as a man who would even sell his own son to protect himself, Panasonic Toyoshige wasn’t too flustered.
Aoyama Xiu Xin was on his way home.
"Boss, someone is tailing us."
Jin Yucheng glanced at the rearview mirror and warned.
"Just drive normally to the house. Have Elena and the others ready to wrap around from behind and catch him at the gate."
Aoyama Xiu Xin, who had been feigning sleep, opened his eyes and spoke indifferently, his facial expression unchanging.
He had offended many people; it wasn’t unusual to be followed or even to be the target of an assassination attempt.
"Sure!" Jin Yucheng responded, then switched to drive one-handed, using the other hand to pick up the car phone and call Elena. "I’m on the way home with the boss. A gray Mazda with the license plate... is tailing us. The boss wants you to catch that little mouse at the house gate and bring it to him."

Aoyama Xiu Xin’s phone also started ringing.
"Mosi Mosi," he answered.
"Senior Police Director, this is Shinichi. I am at the hospital right now, and you might not believe this, but the other party in tonight’s car accident is Yamada Shinryu, who is currently in the operating room," said Nakamura Shinichi feelingly.
He had been secretly investigating the whereabouts of Yamada Shinryu and unexpectedly stumbled upon the information without any effort.
Aoyama Xiu Xin raised an eyebrow, thinking of the accident site outside the Beiyuan Construction Co., Ltd. office building, and he immediately guessed that Yamada Shinryu was targeting Ito Kayo and got into an accident.
Instead of killing Ito Kayo, he had inadvertently involved himself in a case that could be related to human organ trafficking; this guy was really causing trouble for the police.
"Is Yamada Shinryu’s condition stable? Is there any risk of recovery?" Aoyama Xiu Xin inquired with concern.
Nakamura Shinichi glanced at the closed doors of the operating room and said, "The chief surgeon says he was hit really hard; his spine is damaged, and he might never wake up. Even if he does, he’ll be paralyzed for life."
"Then don’t worry about it; may Amaterasu bless him," said Aoyama Xiu Xin with a light laugh.
He originally wanted to secretly arrest Yamada Shinryu to prevent him from causing trouble for Beiyuan Construction.
Now that he was no longer able to cause trouble, there was no need to wrongly accuse him anymore.
"Sure!" Nakamura Shinichi respectfully responded.
After arriving home, Aoyama Xiu Xin hugged his sister-in-law as soon as he entered. Aoyama Haruko’s petite yet ample figure felt satisfying in his arms.
And Aoyama Haruko also enjoyed the feeling of being held by Aoyama Xiu Xin, especially in bed, where she loved Aoyama Xiu Xin completely pressing down on her with her hands and feet pinned, which gave her a sense of being possessed.
The two embraced and walked to the sofa; Aoyama Xiu Xin sat down and picked her up like a child. Aoyama Haruko sat in his lap, her feet not touching the floor, tiny, cute, yet sexy.
"Have you eaten, Xiu Xin?" After hugging for a while, Aoyama Haruko remembered this and asked in a soft, delicate voice.
"I’ve already eaten," Aoyama Xiu Xin replied.
"Knock, knock, knock!" There was a knock at the door, followed by Jin Yucheng’s voice, "May I come in, boss?"
"You go upstairs to clean up and put on a kimono to wait for me," Aoyama Xiu Xin told Aoyama Haruko.
Aoyama Haruko blushed and murmured a soft "Mhm," wriggling out of his embrace and turning to go upstairs.
