Tokyo Ghoul: Madara Template Strikes Back! Chapter 94

Chapter 85: Rize Is Scary~

The moment Kurona revealed her kagune, Kamishiro Rize's expression shifted. The form, color, and movement were all unmistakably familiar. Almost identical to her own.

There was no doubt about it.

"Who did they use as the donor?" Rize asked, her voice low.

"It must've been someone from your family. The bloodline is too obvious," Ryoma replied.

He couldn't say who exactly, but the lineage was clear.

He turned to Kurona. "Did you ever see the person who delivered the donor material to Kanou?"

He was asking not only for himself but to help Rize connect the final dots.

"I saw him once. He wore a clown mask. I didn't get a good look at his face. They called him Mr. PG at the Ghoul Restaurant."

"A clown mask..." Rize murmured.

She knew exactly who that was now.

Furuta Nimura.

Her mind flashed back to that moment when Furuta had turned on her. Everything made sense now. If Ryoma hadn't intervened back then, she would've ended up harvested like some expendable asset.

The thought made her shiver, but she quickly composed herself.

"I'll show you mine too," Rize said casually, though her tone carried weight.

Her eye transformed first, then four scale-like tentacles unraveled from her waist—vibrant, alive, and terrifying.

Kurona's eyes widened. "That's..."

She'd seen similar kagune in her college training. Ghouls with shared bloodlines often had similar kagune structures.

"Is the donor... your relative?" she asked, voice uncertain.

"Likely. Doesn't mean I know him personally," Rize said softly, almost indifferently.

"Where is Kanou's lab? I want to see it for myself."

Rize's tone had sharpened. This wasn't just curiosity now. This had become personal.

"Even if we knew, it'd be dangerous to move in now," Ryoma said. "Especially if word gets back to them."

By "them," he meant the Washuu Clan. But with Kurona in the room, he chose not to say it outright.

"I understand," Rize replied quietly.

Just then, a soft cough broke through the room.

Nashiro stirred on the bed.

Kurona rushed to her side. "Nashiro! You're awake! How do you feel?"

Nashiro's eyes fluttered open. She blinked slowly, disoriented.

"I feel... better," she whispered. Her voice was faint, weak.

Then her gaze caught Ryoma and Rize.

Her eyes sharpened immediately.

"Why is he here? And where are we?"

Kurona gently stroked her sister's hair. "He helped us. He fed you his blood. That's why you're recovering."

"Blood...?"

Nashiro's confusion deepened. She didn't remember anything from the time she'd blacked out.

"I didn't mean to hurt you before," Ryoma said calmly. "But yeah, I gave you my blood. My body seems to have some kind of... regenerative effect on ghouls. It helped stabilize your condition."

Then he looked her in the eye.

"But your kakuhou still hasn't healed. Next step is trying something more effective."

His implication was clear. She would need to eat a piece of him.

Rize's expression darkened ever so slightly.

She didn't like hearing that. Deep down, she had claimed Ryoma as her own. Her food. Her secret indulgence.

But she kept her emotions in check.

"One bite," she said, voice cool and sharp.

She'd only ever had one herself. That was all Nashiro was getting.

Kurona and Nashiro exchanged a glance, not fully understanding why Rize said it like that.

"Alright, one bite is enough," Ryoma said with a smile.

He extended his arm. "Go ahead."

Nashiro hesitated for only a second. Then, brushing her hair back behind one ear, she leaned forward and bit down.

Her jaws clamped on Ryoma's arm with more force than expected. She chewed and swallowed quickly.

There was a sweetness in his flesh. A warmth. An energy that flowed straight into her veins.

She wanted more. Her body screamed for it.

Just as she opened her mouth for another bite, Rize's hand pressed firmly against her forehead, stopping her cold.

"Didn't I say only one bite," she said with a faint smile, though her scarlet eyes shimmered with something darker. Something possessive.

It wasn't a request.

It was a warning.
