Audrey Wood sensed something was wrong and hurriedly opened Weibo for a look. The young man vaguely heard someone mentioning him during the call, so he leaned over and took a glance. His face suddenly changed; the gentle and well-behaved handsome face quickly turned sinister. He snatched Audrey Wood's phone and looked at the video inside.
The familiar background, the familiar figure caught his eyes. The shameful scene he didn't want anyone to know about was blatantly displayed on the trending list. Everyone knew he was a man kept by an older woman.
"Didn't you say no one would find out? Then what is this? What is this!" The young man grabbed Audrey Wood by the throat and pinned her on the bed. His eyes were bloodshot, veins bulging on his forehead, as he exerted force, making it hard for Audrey Wood to breathe.
Audrey Wood desperately patted him, finally getting a chance to breathe, hurriedly explaining: "Don't worry, the video is so blurry; no one will recognize your face. It won't affect your future."
Just as Audrey Wood finished speaking, the sound from the video played again, automatically starting the second segment. The young man glanced at it, his face instantly turning livid. His grip on Audrey Wood's throat tightened, veins protruded on his forehead, and his eyes turned blood-red, as if he wanted to strangle her, "Is this what you call an unrecognizable face?!"
He brought the phone to Audrey Wood's face. She looked at the zoomed-in faces of the two people in the video, her eyes widened, her mouth opened and couldn't close for a long time, "How... how could this happen."
"You're asking me how this happened?" The young man grinned, his face terrifyingly grim. Suddenly, with a fierce look, he grabbed Audrey Wood's hair and threw her to the ground. Her head hit the floor heavily. Audrey Wood felt dizzy, but before she could react, she was slapped hard across the face, causing her to feel numb, and blood trickled from the corner of her mouth.
"What are you doing!" Audrey Wood shouted, "Don't you want to stay in this industry? Believe it or not, I can find someone to blacklist you."
"Blacklist me?" The young man laughed mockingly, "Do you think I can still stay in this industry after such a video gets out? But since I can't survive here, you shouldn't think about surviving here either."
"What... what do you want?" Audrey Wood retreated. Seeing the young man's terrifyingly grim expression, she turned and tried to crawl away. The young man grabbed her ankle, dragged her back, and slammed her head onto the ground.
"What do I want?" He mockingly countered, "Aren't you the one who loves to have me do you? Then let everyone see how lustful and shameless you are."
Audrey Wood's body trembled. Normally, her status could suppress the young man, and he would be eager to please her, but now... A chill ran down her spine as her clothes were torn apart. Audrey Wood arched her back to protect the clothes in front, but it was futile. A heavy slap landed on her face, and kicks pummeled her body. She was like a ball, being easily dragged up and thrown against the wall.
Audrey Wood felt pain in all her internal organs, and she was left with nothing on her body. Prostrate there, she sobbed and cried pitifully.
The young man picked up the phone from the bed and started taking photos of Meghan Wood with a "click-click-click." Audrey Wood opened her tear-blurred eyes, staring at the flashing lights with dread.
